The prestige ability Mass Production allows you to produce multiples of the same thing with just one combine. However, I tried it on Rhenium Bodkin Arrows, and it wouldn't work for any quantity above 10 25 at a time. I would get the error "The components you have selected are invalid. Trade skill process halted."

The same thing occured with 100 of the swamp ash weapons. I had a total of ~130-160 slots in my inventory open.

This is a great AA for making LOTS of stuff at once, great ability imo, just needs the bugs worked out!

Hey there, were you commissioning at the time? I just fixed a bug with that last night.

If not, I'll need to look into it some more, but it was happening before when it was trying to access the same component for primary that was also a build component.

Any info you can provide, etc

Heya. It is NOT a commissioning issue, but seems more like an issue when it is trying to pull a full stack (or more) of fuel. The commissioning bug that it sounds like you fixed was a separate mess we had when trying to commission Thurg armor for folks (before the buff bags were added), and were given excess fuel in the ingredient slot.

I found several instances where it just simply had brain farts when dealing with with full stacks and/or stacks where part came from your bags, and part came from the guild depot.

More details here: http://forums.station.sony.com/eq2/...topic_id=523295

Hope that helps! Been seeing a lot of issues with invalid components, and if you need more testing/details, yell.

I was not doing any commissioning, I was just checking out the mass production part of the tradeskill stuff for myself.

I didn't explore it very much, so I can't really say much more than i've already said. Maybe it has something to do with how much inventory space is open? I assume there's some check that sees if your inventory can fit all the stuff you'd make, and if it can't, then it cancells the process. It might be only checking the first bag in your inventory to see how much stuff can fit. Just a guess.

I just re-re-verified my bag space, and had over 150 bag slots empty when I tried to make 100 stacks of arrows at once, and still got the invalid components message. The fuel was in stacks in my bags, the resources were in the guild depot. Recreated with rhenium shuriken as well.

I tried this again after the patch, and the same thing happened. However, I was able to make 50 packed mirror of reflected achievement easily, and that uses multiple stacks of fuel as well.

I have not have had any issue with bag space or commision but it seems that when you do mass production you can only use material from one stack for each material. I have done alot of crafting adornments using mass production skill and if your material use is not covered using your smallest stack of material the game will say you do not have enough material even though that is not the case.

For exampel if I would want to craft 25 lesser adornments in one go I would need 25 powder and 150 fragment.

Lets say I have 204 fragment in my bag they game refuses to craft anything over 1 piece but if I would have 200 fragment in my bag in 1 stack the game have no problem to craft 25 in one combine.

I'm going to be looking into this today. I'm already in the process of fixing a bug where bags don't work with quantity crafting. If you guys have any specified recipes that you'd like me to double check with certain conditions (ie mats in a depot), be sure to post them here for me.

Is that all directly from your bags or are you making use of a depot?

Sorry, I had the details in the thread I linked higher up in this thread - all of those were with fuels in my bags, and all resources in the stocked guildhall depot. I gave up on having *any* resources other than fuel in my bags when things started flaking, and just put any results of conservation into the guild depot before trying another mass combine. (The fuel *may* have been scattered across more than one bag - I never really checked that part)

I also didn't mean you had to try them all - just that I'd been able to consistently reproduce problems with them, and you could pick whichever struck your fancy and try to duplicate.

This should be fixed now. If anyone still has troubles, be sure to let me know!

Sorry but the bug still remains.

When crafting using the mass production skill the game does not automatically select material from more than the smallest stack of the primary and secondary materials needed for the combine (fuel works fine). When doing a normal single combine it works fine ( game select material from several stacks if needed).

Lets say I want to craft 100 lesser adornments the material needed is 100 powder and 600 fragment, the game will not do this even if you have enough material in your bags. It will just try to use material from one stack of each material ( smallest stack) . You can go and manually select and add material from the other stacks to get enough material but the game does not do this automatically as it should.

This is not limited to adorning but the same issue happens when doing other crafts also.

I can also confirm that the bug still persists.

I made 250 savant's freedom of action (quantity 25, yield 10 each) using my fuels, and the guild depot for resources.

Due to Systematic Conservation, this landed 10 rhenium, 10 iridium and 15 matoppie root in my Wantia Artisan's Satchel.

I tried to do another qty 25 combine, it selected *only* what was in my bags for the build components, and complained about not enough ingredients. (It found the primary, amethyst, in the guild depot, because there was none in my bags). My options at that point were to either manually change each of the three build components to select the thousands sitting in the depot, or dropping all of the contents of my harvest sack into the depot ... again.

Edit: On the plus side, I can make 100 batches of arrow at a time now, provided I juggle resources to not run into the above bug!

I just need to make it search both then if either come up short . I'll look into that!

I'm still getting this error as of 11/12/12. Tested on all three types of lvl 92 arrows. All components were in bags and I had 800 effulgate sandpaper in my bags.

1. Couldn't even try 100 x combine as the interface wouldn't recognize multiple stacks of fuels

2. Tried 50 x combine and got the same error as the person above.
