Would be nice if these things spawned quickly - impossible to pick them up now with even the low beta population.

They don't disappear when someone picks them up, so you shouldn't have to wait on respawns.

Could we have a clue as to the area they're in (aka "inland" or "on shore") in the journal pretty please? They're a bit painfull to find.

For those running out of patience:

- books: 24.12, -3.01, 104.81

- letter: 155.21, -9.27, 166.88

- wrench: 158.50, -63.60, -233.37

- trophy: 105.56, -51.57, -264.47

- supply bag: 224.20, -48.31, -162.13

Having the exact ROIs for where the items are really leaves no mystery to finding them. A small region you'd have to look through for each would make more sense for this type of quest. imo.

The lizardmen around the love letter area are REALLY rabid. Their entire camp aggroed on me when I first approached one of the entrance guards.

I admit I'm baffled by the neck rewards. The neck item I got for completing Unexpected Consequences (which would be required to even open up the quest that opens this quest) is better than the reward from this quest. Basically, you're giving me transmute/vendor fodder. I guess that's fine, and maybe some people will prefer this one instead, just my 2cp.

I agree with Cyliena, I think a highlighted part of the map should be adequate, the Trophy & Wrench seem to be the hardest to find for those that ask for help on this quest in channel chat.

Died a few times attempting to get the love letters at the lizardmen camp.

You might as well of given us the coordinates in the quest text so we didn't even have to look at the map. A smallish blue region would be sufficient so people still had to do a little something to find them.

I agree about the lizardmen in the camp where the letters are. They are abosolutely viscious. I'm not in awesome gear or anything but I wouldn't expect even con solo mobs to be quite so awful. Add to the fact that you pull one and maybe 2 more spawn up with it and attack you (non-encounter) or even 4-5 more I've had spawn up with the single one I pulled. Sometimes happened with the middle groups as well, and it wouldn't be just adds from the camp. Others would still be sitting under their tents & I'd have a huge mob of lizards around me. I don't know if it's a case of some of the mobs being under the world or what, but it's harsh. Add in the large buff that they get sometimes with the unexpectedly large quantities of adds, this supposedly simple solo quest is going to be really rough on many people.

All for a necklace that is vendor/transmute junk compared to the necklace you get from the quest you have to do to open it up. Maybe make it a ring or a bracelet instead?

I agree here. The reward should be a different piece of jewelry other than a neck since we just got one from the quest to get here. Also, make the ROI's areas to explore in order to find the item, not a waypoint right to it.
