Quest: From sea to sea

<p>Hello, I'm having trouble finding the first part of the map for this quest.  Various online searches I've made have give waypoints to find a broken barrel, but then say that the spawn area varies, which is fair enough.  They go on to say that once you find the broken barrel 2 pirates will spawn.  I have been up and down that shore area several times but have not found anything on the beach to click on except shore crabs and, after some time, some heroic Eagle type bird appears and  kills me almost immediately.</p><p>Can someone who has successfully (and preferably recently) accomplished this task, please point me in the right direction.</p><p>Thanks in advance for your help.</p>

<p>I just completed this quest five minutes ago and had no problem finding the broken barrel. For me, it spawned quite near the Watcher of the Fields, almost directly in front of the Siren's Shrine. The pirates don't spawn until after you've clicked the barrel. It's a very broken barrel though - look for a couple of flat planks on the ground, rather than anything barrel-like. (And don't let Windfeather catch you again! <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> )</p>

<p>So I still can't get it done.  Nothing spawns along the shore at all, no matter how long I wait and patrol there.  It's really strange, because all the other parts are there, just not the first part.   Maybe my game is broken?</p><p>On the plus side,  I haven't been caught by Windfeather again <img src="/smilies/8a80c6485cd926be453217d59a84a888.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></p>
