Canceling account

<p>How can I cancel my account?  There is no option on my membership options screen.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">You can't.  The only way to stop paying is to get in touch with your credit card company and have them cancel the card.  Ha!</p><p style="text-align: justify;"> </p><p style="text-align: justify;">There should be an option for removing payment sources on the account management page.  Once you stop paying (and your current sub runs out) your account will drop to the lowest F2P tier.  It'll still show up as 'active' but you won't be paying anything.</p><p style="text-align: justify;">Or, if you really want to go whole hog, you can delete all of your characters first.  But I'd recommend against that option, you might want to play them again at some point.</p>

<p>When you log into your account and goto subscription info you just hit the cancel button next to where it shows what kind of recuuring sub you have.</p><p>When your sub runs out you will be downgraded to free to play.</p><p>To remove CC info you may have to call SoE.</p>
