<p>Well, it looks like they aren't completely ignoring tradeskills. I was particularly excited by the following question from Zam's transcript of the Q&A:</p><p><strong>Q11) Is there any possibility of recipes being available in the SC Marketplace?</strong></p><p><strong>Smokejumper</strong>: A11) Yes, sort of! Other way around though. Clarify: We're going to turn a bunch of SC items into recipes. Moving recipes into the tradeskilling community. Much design still to do, but we want this stuff made instead of SC.</p><p>How they intend to get much done with a part-time developer is still a big question in my mind, though.</p>

Making the recipes is probably time consuming (deciding how much of which items for each recipe and assigning a craft and station then putting all of it into the database). But that is not 'hard', just tedioius and time consuming if they don't automate it.
