<p>Yes, to the above poster, asking about the collector's edition for people who already own the standard.</p><p>Any chance you all might put the collector's editions upgrades on sale for 50% off too?  I can outright buy the AOD collectors edition for $45.00, or the upgrade only for $50.00....if I could get 50% off the upgrade, making it $25, I'd go ahead and buy it.  Otherwise, it still makes more sense for me to wait until the next 50% off sale in the SC store or the next double or triple station cash sale. Not a big deal....just doesn't make alot of sense to me the upgrades aren't on sale too. </p>

<p>I recently purchased the standard Age of Discovery for 39.99. Can I upgrade from the standard edition by paying 5.00 more for the collector's edition? Not worth paying 44.99 for the collector's edition if you already paid 39.99 for standard.  Why do I have such bad timing with these sales? First I missed out on the 50% off all items on SC store that fell on a triple station cash day when you could have still bought a yearly subscription in the SC store, it would have cost only 15.00 if you bought a Walmart SC card. And now I go ahead and buy the standard edition of AoD about 2 weeks before this sale and if I would have waited could have bought the collector's for 5.00 more.  I'm very annoyed.  Seems like they are trying to do everything they can to make people want to stop playing this game. Guild Wars 2 is just around the corner I guess. </p>

<p>I think there is something wrong with this promotion. I bought 2000SC by CC to be able to buy AoD whhich suppose to costs 1999SC. Well it doesn't. Marketplace shows it all the time as 3999SC. Accidentaly I bought DoV as it was the only thing for 1999sc and I simply was too excited and pressed Buy. I realised about my mistake few min later, when I wnet to Neriak and tried to hire mercenary...</p><p>Still, even DoV should cost 999SC according to your adverts, and 1999sc was taken from my account.</p><p>How can I get SC back (1000sc), or better is there any way for me to switch from DoV which I bought accidently to AoD?</p>

Yeah, I am able to use SC on my 2nd account that isn't All Access...but the all access account can't pay with SC for some reason.

I mean serioulsy?</p><p>Yesterday one of my friend tried to buy AoD x-pac in discount price in Marketplace and it is not possible. I didin't believe that SOE could do such thing, treat their european customers this way, so I tried to buy AoD x-pac on my 2nd account, and apparently I can't. There is NO DISCOUNT for me and my friends.</p><p>Why is so? <p>Hopefully it was just something that wasn't thought through properly, and support seemed to be unaware we couldn't use station cash. Would be nice to get a proper response though as it is discriminatory and yeah it does appear ever so slightly fraudulent. You can't advertise something at a sale price to the player population as a whole then say Oh sorry, only certain people can take advantage of it.</p><p>Imagine what would happen if it was a high street store advertising 50% off then when we tried to buy they said, Oh sorry, you have to pay full price because you're British/German/Swedish, whatever. Trading Standards would be all over them like a rash.</p>
