Recently began playing again, while downloading I decided to stream the game. I maxed everything out, due to the fact that I have 2 SLI Geforce GTX 570's. But my frames are bogging down very low. Is this for the fact that I am stream the data to me?

Streaming might play a small role but from what I understand once you've finished zoning you are all done downloading for that area. Be sure to check if your shadows are being rendered on the gpu or cpu, for me making the switch to GPU it made a massive difference (40+ additional fps).

EQ2 is primarily CPU intensive. As far as EQ2 is concerned, the 2nd SLI'd card you have, may as well be a brick (it does nothing for you).EQ2 streams the assetts (file) to your local PC, meaning it can send files while you're playing/zoning. It would not impact your FPS during actual gameplay.

To answer the OP, switching to full would probably alleviate some, if not most, of your issues.

Streaming does tend to re-download the same locations and can cause the game to lag. Fully downloading it may resolve your issue.
