I am really not sure what happened, I haven't been playing as much lately but now that I want to go back , I can't even play. Even at extreme performance I am getting about 10-15 frames per second in most zones... I mean I was getting 15-20 on extreme quality a month or two ago even triple boxing!

I am playing on a Asus Republic of Gamer G74Sx laptop with an i7-2630, 8Gb ram and a 3Gb GeForce 560M... my old laptop 2 years ago got better performance than this.

Any ideas what I could do or what could have changed? Other games don't seem to have this performance issues, only EQ2... is there more information I can give that would help pinpoint the issue, maybe dxdiag? Here is what little I could post because of the max size of the forum :

------------------System Information------------------Time of this report: 8/3/2012, 16:39:38 Machine name:
I can't imagine most laptops playing EQ2 honestly. EQ2 benefits most from a fast CPU and lots of fast ram. I recently upgraded my PC. Originally I had an AMD Phenom 965 Black Edition CPU, 4gb DDR2 Ram, Nvidia GTX 470. I upgraded to:

Intel Core i7-3770

16GB DDR3

Nvidia GTX 670

With my old system, I could get decent performance on High Quality, however there were certain zones that still played under 30 FPS.

With my new system, the difference is incredible. I crank most settings way up, close to extreme quality. 95% of the time I am above 30 FPS.
