So after the Qeynos Rising update, playing as your self got seriously messed up. Before the update, you could take a low level char into the dungeons and survive. Now after the update, a level 50 character entering has their hps boosted, but not their mana and damage ratios. A 92 doesn't need this so they go through them fine.

I went into one with a guildmate playing a 92 sk, she was a 54 warden. She ran out of sp every fight. I was fine. She had 6k sp, I had 38k. It eventually just came down to me doing everything and her staying back so she wouldn't die since she couldn't add anything to the fight. I previously did this dungeon with her char using a 67 paladin, 29 sk, and the 92 sk and we did fine. Now if we try any combo but the 92 sk they fail.

Level agnostic play doesn't seem to be everything it was cracked up to be.

I believe playing as your character was in response to some players demands. So you have to give them credit for trying. Too bad it appears to taken so much effort to get to a option that doesn't work well. On the other hand perhaps its working as intended. The game direction seems to be to put a player on rails to get to 92 as quickly and uniformly as possible and then focus content for a single level.

Personally, I like playing the avatars, particularly ones a different class from my character, and I would rather have seen the effort put into giving dungeon designers more tools and options.

What I meant to say is that I love the buggy HPs and low xp. Fun, fun.
