I wish they had started this event on a Saturday instead of a Sunday so we had the more weekend time to enjoy it.

The festival operators have experienced an explosion in the warehouse as they were getting ready to depart. Please stand by while the festival is delayed...

AB server. Dozens waiting around for the gnomes and the event. 30 minutes after midnight Pacific....

This happens every time there's an event. Announce, say be ready....then forget to turn on event.

Crushbone server: Aether races work (most of them at least), but everything else is gone.

Anyone know if they've picked new spawn locations for the cogs since you can no longer get into the Baubleshire? (Or Temple Street in some cases?)

*Waits four months in anticipation for Tinkerfest. Stays up late on EQ2 instead of working. Reduced to beating head on keyboard in frustration.*

Ingame calendar says 2 AM. Giving the benefit of the doubt that it's Pacific Time, it's still late. No sign of Tinkerfest 4:05 AM Central. Again, this isn't an isolated occurrence. I'm too tired to stay up and wait. My bet is on 9 AM pacific when they have trickled in and had their morning coffee.

Ingame calendar is set for your timezone (mine said 3am, and I'm Eastern US). So yeah, they're over two hours late. Naturally, it'll come up about six seconds after I camp out.

Or are we just stuck waiting until Monday morning?

Now this is what gives SOEa bad name and makes people mad and cause others to leave the game. Here it is 7:50 AM 8/29/2012. And still No tinker Fest so what happen this time around SOE?? Ohh and by the way I am on the Freeport Server.

I took a nap, got up at 3am EST...no Tinkerfest on Oasis either (to a sad and tired gnome). Stayed ran around for an hour and check again...nada.....went afk for an hour and a half...same ol'.....log off, go back to sleep.....back up 2 hours later, log in....still nothing. It's one of three holiday events I care about (I could care less about the rest, honestly), so I'm kinda bummed it's late, and especially, because I have to leave for work in 2 hours and won't be home until late. Oh well, I kinda felt like something like this was going to happen, because it's typical. I'm, trying not to whine here, but I find it sad that expecting disappointment from something you love normally wouldn't be acceptable. I hope there's an extension to the time lost, because it's a short enough holiday event as it stands, and so far, we've lost nearly 5 hours already. Any info on the possibliity on this, anyone?

Its a sad state of affairs that their service to the base is so lacking in the sharing of information with us. Like I tel my co-workers, a little information goes a long way.

Once again, I am disappointed. My time in game is spent with guild responsibilities, leaving little time for much else. Couple that with the fact I work 40+ hours every week and a household to run, my time in game is very tightly scheduled. That being said, I told my guild not to bother me today as I was going to get as much Tinkerfest in as possible. Sad to say that won't be happening because, once again, SoE fails to deliver.

I keep trying to tell them users can forgive problems when they're kept in the loop and given possible resolution times. Problems happen, we all know this. And things don't always get resolved by the time we expect them to, this is frustrating but forgivable as long as we remain informed. However, this whole hanging in limbo when we don't even know if they have a monkey working on the problem is unforgivable to users. It shows a lack of respect for the customer base. Users become frustrated and the game becomes a source of stress. Ultimately people are going to vote with their dollars. Come on SOE, this is customer service 101.

Now they have gotten a tiny bit better in the last month I've noticed, by posting when there will be a down time for updates where it's readily noticible by players. This just shows me they still have a long way to go.
