The EQ/EQII Facebook Quest Continues!

This month’s quest was to get an additional 2,000 Facebook likes to both the EverQuest and EverQuest II page. This quest was a little more difficult compared to the first quest as only the EverQuest II community completed the quest. For that, every player who has logged into EverQuest II since that game converted to free-to-play has been granted with an XP potion (extended potion of the advanced) and three (3) no trade digital booster packs of LON set #13, Priestess of the Anarchs!</p> <p>The goal for the third month is to increase Facebook followers for EverQuest or EverQuest II by 3,000 likes respectively by August 23rd. If your game's Facebook community has achieved the goal of 3,000 additional Facebook followers we will once again reward every player who has logged into your game since it went free-to-play (once per account), but this time with a mount! For EQ, your mount will be a Braxi Mount and for EQII your mount will be an <strong><em>Opalescent Prowler</em></strong>. Make sure your game (or both games) meets its goal. We might even reward you sooner if you reach your goal before the 16th, of course at SOE's discretion.</p> <p>Keep up the hard work and remember, you are fighting your counterpart for a double experience weekend! The winning community (based on its proportional growth) will be announced during <a href="http://www.soe.com/soelive">SOE Live</a> (Oct. 18th, 2012). <p>I checked two of my accounts just now, one was plat at the time of FtP and has been a recurring sub pretty much non-stop, other than a 1 week period this spring.  The other was gold at the time of FtP as well as being gold for a month after, and has been silver from then on.</p><p>Neither shows anything either in the claim area or when logging into LoN.  So I assume these have not been added ingame to our claim areas yet.</p><p>Sadly, one of my accounts, one of my older ones too, did not get that 500 SC from the last Facebook contest.  Can't help wondering if others also did not get their 500 SC added...</p>

<p>if you havent gotten rewards from previous facebook quests and you are elegible then i suggest you contact CS and see if they can help you. they should be able to look at your payment history and verify you were subbed at the time.</p>

<p>Same here. I've got 3 accounts that have never missed a minute of sub time and have all logged in on a semi-regular basis in the last 6 months. I don't see any reward from this Facebook thing, although all my accounts received it on the last one. Maybe they didn't do them yet? Or didn't get everyone yet?</p>

<p>So the reward is going to be another ground mount that will never see the light of day for anyone over 85? flying mounts make ground mount useless. why didn't you take one of your LoN mounts or SC mounts like the flaming pegasus or flying carpet and give it a recolor instead. or maybe a better dragon/drakota mount. you know one that doesn't bounce up and down when it flies or have me sitting on it's shoulders with my knees in my chest.</p>

It says any account that has been logged into since f2p started should get the rewards. I have 3 accounts that classify, even though one is my old eq1 account with a lvl 1 toon on eq2 , and none of them have received anything (SC or xp potion). I have petitioned and waiting a reply.

I don't have a specific date yet as to when that will be awarded, but when I do, I will let you know.</p><p>As for the <em>Legends of Norrath </em>booster packs, those were awarded last week. If you're looking for your LON cards, when you log into LON, you will recieve a delivery window. There is only one window for <strong><em>all</em></strong> the packs you receive. </p><p>I have collected a list of station names from this thread who have said they did not recieve the packs and will look into it further. </p><p>~Dexella</p>

<p>Afternoon of the 9th and my account still has not gotten the packs.  I received my 5 Choose a Pack cards that I get with my monthly sub every month, but not the 3 Priestess of Anarch packs.  Petitioned this three days ago and not answer at all except the automated response you get whenever you file a petition stating it was received.  We petitioned on the husband's account as well and he got the automated response and then today got a response saying the ticket was being closed completed, BUT he still does not have the packs either.  Going to update the petitions on all three accounts and hope for the best I guess.  Kinda frustrating especially since I actually got some folks to go like the dang Facebook page to help with earning this reward!</p><p>Kyiara</p>

I still haven't seen either the 500 sc from the first phase or the LON packs from the second. I checked my LON just a few days ago and only had 2 lots of the monthly 5 packs to collect. I've been getting my recurring sub SC too, just no sign of the extra 500.

I just got an answer to my updated petition. It stated a fix was in the works and to check SOE.COM for updates. Meaning that they can stop doing this anytime they like and probably will now that so many of you have caused such a fuss. </p><p>So everyone needs to take a deep breath and chill a little while. Obviously somethings not working out with the distribution of the rewards and if it takes a little while longer you'll survive. Rather than Dexella collecting a pile of names of people that are posting about not recieving anything from the FB quests I think that it would be more productive to go ahead and put in a petition yourself.</p><p>Now for my 2 cents. As much as I appreciate the idea of recieving another mount to add to my collection, I would prefer the FB quest rewards to be fluff items. For instance, I think a mold that gave players a selection of appearance outfits to select from would be a great idea. Perhaps this could even be a seasonal themed item? It's poor business to roll out a promotion for a product and then not live up to the promised reward for the promotion.
