In gears of klak'anon, sometimes a person will enter the instance and not have a team. They just act like an npc, nobody can hurt them, they can't hurt anybody, they cant interact with anything. This is annoying because it leads to some teams having only 5 or less people, depending on how many npc-ified people there are. This makes the match terribly imbalanced, and the team short some people will usually get their faces stomped in.

Also, the relic can just sit there the entire match, with nobody picking it up. This gets very boring, as the map just becomes a "hey, lets bash each other's faces in for 15m!" instead of "hey we need to get that relic off the ground" My suggestion to solve this is to add an AE on the relic that increases the longer it has been on the ground, resetting back to the minimum when somebody picks it up. The AE would also stop once a player has picked it up.

The combination of these 2 factors can lead to a very long and boring, one-sided match. This is very disheartening, and would be a real bummer if it was allowed to continue.

EDIT: also, a group of 4 healers, a coercer, and an assassin is just silly. Please update the matchmaker.

Sadly its a common bug that's been happening for a few months now with all the BG maps. The only recommendation I can give is to just leave and take the 5-minute queue as a match will take longer than 5 minutes (or at least thats what my experience has been).

How do you actually do anything in there? I picked up a quest, clicked something to zone in, but I have no idea what to do once I'm actually in the "hub." The folks on the BG seem to be an unfriendly lot, so asking questions is sort of pointless. The only thing I saw that I could click was a go home thing. The zone does not seem to be newbie friendly in figuring things out. Do you go somewhere beyond the hub? Click something to zone into the actual zone? I need a big neon orange sign that screams "click me" to play.

Then start stabbing people.

Also all conversation in the BG hub is in Say and many fail to realise that and not even have it on the tab where you usually chat. After you have done some matches you will start to realize who the good players are, inspect them to see what their gear is.

Thanks for the info. I'm actually having fun even though most of my groups do not win. The armor that you can buy works in PvE also right? It's not just for battlegrounds?
