Hi All:

Recently I upgraded my video card to a Gigabyte AMD HD 7870 Ghz Edition 2gig vram. Now some of the npc's don't draw completely... they're just heads walking around. If I step back a few feet the whole npc appears and all is ok. It only seems to occur up close and out to a certain distance away. While this doesn't happen with all npc's a select few it happens to. I've checked and adjusted settings in-game and via AMD's control panel but nogo.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks

Accredo

----------

i7-3930K 6 core

ASRock Extreme 6 mobo

16 gig G.Skill 1600 MHz XMP Quad

Gigabyte AMD Radeon HD-7870 2GB PCIe 3.0

Corsair 180g SSD

Corsair 80 series 750w

Cooler Master HAF X

Corsair H-100 Cooler

I have the same issue as well ...

But its not just some NPCs its other objects in the world as well like tents & tree leaves, at certain angles or distances they become transparent ... moving or changing the angle at which I view them & they'll pop back into full view.

I'm running an ATi HD 6970 @ 1920x1200 .. with the lastest drivers CATS 12.8

pics below ....

I found the issue ... it was my video cards AA setting ... switching from adaptive AA to full quality AA & the transparent issue is gone
