Ok, so here I am, seeking tips, because I thought I was doing ok, then realized how wrong I was.I was raiding last night and in UDx4 I had a zonewide parse of 67k, with only 40k HPS. I don't know if either I am super undergeared, or I just suck that bad at my class, but a Warden parsed 280k and had 179k HPS....How am I THAT far behind? Also, I struggle pretty bad with group healing. I can keep one person alive through a nuclear war, but when it comes to keeping an entire group, is it just me, or do Inquisitors have a little trouble in that Depo?A usual fight for me is:MD on pullPenance on TankVengeance/Repentance every chance I getCA, CA, CA, Auto Attack, CA, CA, Auto, Spell, Spell, Auto repeat (That is all the CA's/Spells I have)I might interrupt something for an Alleviation when need be. As long as the group isn't getting pounded on, I manage just fine. If the group is taking lots of hits, or lots of nasty dets...I struggle. I can group cure twice, but then if they take anymore I am either in the middle of casting Alleviation or MD while the group has a det. Does this sound normal for an Inquis?I have over 100% cast speed, even with that MD is rediculous, and Alleviation is a tad slow. Here is me: Adamanti

Well, first let's start with your AA spec. It's bad. I'll link you to my EQ2U page with my AA spec. In Inquisitor tree, figure out how many points you need in reuse for Redemption, Fervent Faith & Emergency reactive to cap it. Chances are, you don't need 5. But you may need more than 1 (which is how many I have). So don't just blindly copy that from my spec. Don't blindly copy anything if it doesn't feel comfortable for you. Play around with it. Although 95% of it is just basic stuff. When it comes down to the last few points, it really doesn't matter where you put what.

Here is the link to my AA's: http://u.eq2wire.com/soe/aas/476742360100

You express having trouble keeping your group up. This is more important than how much dps you do. You primary job is to heal. Always. Especially if you're solohealing. I noticed you put 5 points in Inquisition (the most useless spell we have probably). Inquisition won't help at all. Don't cast it. Just remove it from your hotbars. A lot of healers want to rely on Alleviation to keep their group up, which is fine if you can proc wards when you cast it. Ward procs help a ton in group survivability. You'd be surprised how much of our heal parses are procs. Make SURE you have Dogma on. Convert Ally does like 10% of my outgoing heals most of the time. That's a lot. But still make sure to cast MD. Group reactives are essential to staying alive. Especially with a chance of getting 20+ triggers. Get a mob cast bar, learn the name of AoE's and pre-cast cures. In fact, I'd suggest switching to Drums UI or something along those lines. There's just so many useful tools. Click to cure, Spell timer window to track how many triggers of reactives you have left, quick click buttons for heals or for rezzing. I can go on and on.

Onto dps, the most important thing: Get a decent 2H. I'd stay away from an 8 sec delay weapon tbh. I personally haven't tested 6 vs 7 vs 8 yet but I have a feeling you'd lose dps with the 8sec one. 2nd most important thing: DONT EVER INTERRUPT YOUR AUTO ATTACK. And thirdly, if you want to parse decently at all, get your MA up. Which is really easy to do with reforging & adornments. I know a lot of Inquisitors sit at 600 MA solo. This is what will boost your DPS. Now, like I said a bit ago, get some form of a spell timer window. Don't ever chain cast Repentance and Vengeance. Watch and see how many triggers you have left & when it is about to expire. You're just wasting time casting it whenever it's up. Redundant. Also put 3 points into chance of double triggers in the prestige window, but hopefully you'd already do that after I linked you my spec.

After you do all this and if you still have trouble, let me know.

I've noticed with the new gear having so much either spell or ability reuse, we will be at reuse cap with just gear. I would imagine AA points spend in reducing ONLY reuse should be spent elsewhere. Some AA choices have reuse and some other benefit though, so that could still be viable. What do ya'll think?

Like Jez said, your AA spec is somewhat off... There are multiple things I see on there that really don't make sense... I don't know why you didn't go down Holy Shield line or any other line other than the middle. I'd personally pop those missing points into heretics doom, coordinate with your illy... Timewarp is going to be your best friend. I have a trigger for Time Warp and anything else that I can coordinate. You really don't need 5 points into the emergency heal, honestly, you shouldn't even be popping it unless you feel like dpsing while fighting an EASY named and just dont want to cast anything. I think I have used the emergencies maybe 3 times this past month ( and thats because the mob was easy as hell and I didn't feel like casting MD at 10%) ... You should really rework your heroic line, I'd rather have 10 more critbonus than 10 points into Divine Armor. My spec changes ALOT as I experiment with a few things here and there and switch out depending on fight/heroic/HM/EM... So its really not a good idea copying anyone's spec. The prestige points can be better spent as well... The procs you get on a double repentance + vengeance does alotttt, I'd have 3/3 up there and skip the second line while working my way down the left side.

I appreciate the insight. You have definately talked me into it. I will give it a whirl. For the record though, I dont use Exorcise. Looks cool on paper, but way too much cost for so little benefit.
