1. Whenever I use the in-game browser now (I think since the recent patch), I immediately crash to desktop. This is also true of the help menu.

2. I accidently clicked one of the ? marks that open the help menu on one my characters, and I can no longer log onto the character. I crash to desktop immediately whenever I try to log onto that character.

3. I cannot get voice chat to work at all. I receive a failure to connect message most of the time, and other times I hear what people are saying for a few seconds and then it stops working. This has contributed to me quitting raiding and limited my ability to group and comminicate with guildies. People actually get angry at me that I haven't been able to fix it.

4. Finally, I'm having problems with the error message 'application ran out of memory when requesting x bytes'- it will happen randomly very rarely unless I am in a difficult to load zone like a highly decorated guild hall. In highly decorated guild halls, it happens frequently.

I do not know what to do about any of this, and any help would be much appreciated. Thank you.

Well, I don't speak tech in as much detail as people around here, but hopefully I can give some surface answers / bump this for you:

In-game browser has reported lots of issues since it was updated this week. Solutions I've heard include making sure your firewall allows the file awesomium_process.exe and updating your custom UI, if any.

Not being able to log in a character happens. Do /petition on a different character and try asking a GM to get you unstuck; you'll usually end up in Butcherblock if it's successful. I've never heard of this specific bug before though, odd..

As for voice chat, that's currently broken almost across the board. I recommend Raidcall (it's free!) for the time being; some people like Vent or Mumble. They're working on a solution for this.

The error message for running out of memory is probably because larger/more decorated zones, like t3 halls, demand more than normal zones and can therefore crash systems (including brand new ones, albeit less frequently than older computers). Are you running the minimum/recommended requirements for EQ2? Do you turn down settings when you enter a hall or highly populated area, such as raids?

If you are still encountering crashing issues, I'd recommend submitting a technical support ticket so we can figure out what's going on!

Suggestions to Resolve Crashing and Freezing
