Hi guys,

had a frustrating problem... when entering my house or entering an instance, the game ping creeps up from 300 ping to anywhere up to 20k ping, i cant right click or teleport out of there. After about 5 minutes it boots the character back to character select screen The normal game world performance is fine, only happens when im in an instance type area.

it basically traps my character for days on end until i hit teleport and about 1 time in 20 i can finally manage to teleport out of there. Tried resetting my modem, etc, but as the normal iin game performance is fine dont think it would be an ISP or router problems.

any suggestions would be great, its making me tear my hair out in frustration.

I'm sorry about your latency problem. I would suggest bypassing the router and plugging directly in the modem. If you continue to have issues, then I would recommend submitting a support ticket to our technical support team so they can troubleshoot the issue. Please be sure to include your Dxdiag and Msinfo to expedite the process.
Is there a solution to this yet? I just came back after a year break and have same issue, didnt have it when i left last summer for awhile.Ive read several posts about same issue but none have solutions or even ideas for solutions posted. I still have the same wireless broadband setup i had last time. Whats wierd is everyone is moving around and talking normaly around me but i cant interract with anything and chat shows up several minutes later.

Just in case anyone else has this problem and googles it, I had this exact problem, upgraded the router firmware, and hey presto it's fixed.

The router wasn't autodetecting the firmware, i had to go to the netgear site to get it, but worth a go at autoupdate anyway maybe. This was a netgear DGN1000, and the problem only occured with my laptop when connected via that router (wireless or wired, didn't matter).

Anyway hope that helps anyone who has the same issue.
