I understand that there are basically two classes that are tops at enhancing a groups power, Troub and Illy. Is either one better at it than the other, and if one was to try and level one or the other up is either one easier to solo/molo up or are they about the same. My guild is looking for more of one of these classes and I am just trying to pick one that won't be too big of a pain to get leveled up somewhat quickly.

It would be between an Illy or Coercer, not Troub, both of which are easy to solo.

Illy is more for mage groups, coercer helps melee more. If you're planning on raiding, coercers have an easier time feeding power to groups other then their own compared to illies.

Ok, so what is Troubador for then, I thought they did sort of the same thing only by using songs instead of spells.

Dirges buff melee better with troubies better for casters. Driges and coercers also buff hate while troubies have a buff to reduce hate (I forget if illys do as well). Dirges above 65 also have a stoneskin gor the group.
