Seriously SS zones seem made for DF with their ease... easier than some of the DoV zones still...

Perhaps we can toss them on DF as it seems any random group can beat these.

I am going to have to say this would be an amazing idea, just make sure you flag them level 92 only for the DF. With the 90 min reset timers on these zones, I often find myself looking for any sort of group for them in off hours for the chance at rare loot, and heroic trade skill apprentice components.

SS zones may be easy, but as far as we know (from patch notes etc) they haven't fixed the glaring issues with DF group make ups. Namely the groups that spawn with... no tank, no healer, no utility, no dps, or any combination of the above.

I am not saying DF doesn't have issues that need fixing.. but it seems there is no reason not to have these dungeons on the list at all.

Holly basically admited DF is broken and doesn't work (eq2talk interview). I don't understand why its even in game until they get it fixed.

Remove it from game, add these dungeons, either way don't matte rmuch till they actually fix it.

DF in itself is a great idea, and I hope one day the resources can be put to it to make it successful, but gaining the entropy required will be very difficult the longer it sits in game non-functioning.

On Freeport DF pretty much works -- with mercs.

Oftentimes the group it selects will be stupid and have only a couple people -- such as a group consisting of an assasin and a wizard (DPS types seem to be using DF more). So the first thing people do is start pulling out the mercs and keep reinforce on. With any luck between mercs and people coming in later the group will be fine. I'm probably averaging roughly 50% success rate of getting a group which can actually perform. If you leave a group for any reason (including everyone else but you leaving) you have to wait 10 minutes before you can use DF again.

I have never seen it fill a six person group since I started using it again last month but with mercs that's ok.

Oftentimes it's filled FAST. A few times I've gotten the invite message box so fast after I hit the Queue button that the DF screen was still up.

There's some things which would help even more:

1. More people using DF (of course).

2. Let people have more then one merc in reserve at a time. You can only have one out, but if you could, for example, have both a healer and a tank ready to pull out as needed it would give more flexability in filling all the empty spots.

3. SoE should to mix up the dungeons some more. I've been in Sabaron's Palace so many times I am truly sick of it, but it's never put me in some of the other selections.

4. Fix the freaking bugs! (of course). Like when I come in and discover I"m the ONLY one in the group. Or when it tries to add a seventh person to the group (sucks for the seventh as they get auto-booted; may occur if mercs are out if the leader had had reinforce on before the group count hit six).

However, even with the bugs it works if you're willing to be flexible, have a decent merc ready to pull out, are willing to put up with a ~50% success rate, and are willing to turn off dungeons which you know you won't do well in (no 25% bonus but I'm fine with that). At least it is for my 82 beastlord after I turn off SF because I doubt I'm all that useful to a group of 90s in a dungeon full of reds.

The typical successful group I've been in usually has 3-4 actual players filled out with mercs. Since I started using DF a month ago I have NEVER seen a group of 6 players. The empty slots are filled out with healer and/or tank mercs. Healers get priority. There's never been a need for a DPS merc as it seems like DPS classes are the ones who most use DF (I have no idea why).

Dungeon Finder is a worthless tool, it never groups me properly and is kind of a waste of time.

Makes me sad knowing that <insert name of game here> dungeon finder is soooo much better. Would love to see it working similar to that where it checks what you are (healer/tank/dps) before you sign up.

I leveled there to max just by questing and jitting each dungeon 1-5 times (depending on how many fails before I got the achievement for it). The whole time I have seen 5 (as in "FIVE", "Less than 10", "Can count on one hand") people outside of a city. On one of more populous servers. That game is dead, just a lobby wiere everyone is just insta-queues without any adventure.

Almost every group is a tank with Account gear (if it is non-fail group), 2-5 healers that will rotate out as they will be quitting through the run, 1-2 Brazilian cats that walk on a keyboard rahter than do anything remotely useful, 2-3 ninjas. All content is nerfed into the dirt to allow that setup a good chance to win. Nerfed as in "You can duo any dungeon with any 2 classes while severely undergeared". No thanks. Mentoring a group of 92s down to 70 and running Nest is more fun and challenging than doing BRD at proper levels.
