nobody will be actualy getting these things made in their current state because of the mats needed and they are consumable.

how about making them like the totems ?

as in you get 1 pot per combine, clickable from invintory, and its not consumed.

Arrows are made in 2000 per combine. Food is 100 per combine also, so I think people would make these just fine.

It's 100 per combine and they stay for 4h. 400h for the number of mats seems fine. The only one that will be hard to get mats wise is the bunch of arrows. 2000 is not that much for a ranger nowadays.

If Wurm Tongues weren't going for 400p on the broker, maybe more folks would be making the potions, as it stands now they're just to rare to really bother.

Yeah they need to rethink this recipe TBH and make the ingredients more in line w/ the arrows and the food/drinks.

My opinion is consumable item recipes should never use these types of ingredients. They may not be that much of a problem to obtain in the heroic zones, but I can't imagine the raid consumable recipes ever being made.

It also takes rare roots to make most of the consumables also, so maybe they could just reduce the need for the wurm tongue and leave the rest.

Food/drink: 1 banyan root, 1 maligonian horn, 20 effulgent kindling

Arrows: 1 swamp ash lumber, 2 maligonian horns, 20 effulgent sandpaper

Elixirs: 1 banyan root, 1 wurm tongue, 1 wyvern stinger, 1 bone golem shard, 20 effulgent candle

That's a huge discrepency among consumables. Can this please be fixed?

I remember the same thing being said about EH recipes and in the end EH's consumables were still popular long after everyone lost interest for the armors.

The consumables seem fair to me, right now. Items take 6 rares and are not even raid quality, whereas consumables take two rares and a harvest, and give a significant payoff with best-in-game stats.

The arrows seem a little weak. Maybe cut back on arrow consumption in general, and it will all balance out. I hope people don't get repetitive stress injuries trying to distribute the arrows to their raid's scouts.

Now compare that to colossal reactant consumables as an example of horribly unbalanced material cost. You can have one tradable near-end-game item, or a few hours of food/drink. They seem to have remembered the lesson, this time.

----

(edit: Sorry, I never bothered to look at the elixirs. Those costs do seem a bit too high.)
