Every time I try to get to the customer service site to use any of its options (KB, Chat, Support or phone) I get a message pop up on my Browser window "To help protect your security,Internet Explorer has blocked this website from displaying content with security certification errors. Click here for options"

Now I don't know if the recent hack issues some sites cough have been having has gotten some certs been revoked or what but I can't even begin to get my MANY issues resolved until this one does.

Things I tried to see if it was my end aside from secondary system:

first my browser is IE8.0.6001.18702

On Win XP Pro

Have every patch downloaded

So I cleared my cache manually making sure all old cookies and what have you were gone, deleted all tmp/temp folders and took out trash still same message.

What next? Off to more forums with more issues.

Do you get that error message if you try another browser other than your current installation of IE8?

Since I own and never have owned another browser I do not know. But I would hope the browser that is still in the lead totally if not atleast tied for the lead with used products would work no?

**UPDATE**

Tried using friends laptop which had Win7 on it but of course it's browser is IE9 and sure enough same problem. So it seems your CS site either has a bug with IE or a clash with some security setting.

I did get to CS finally using a computer at the library. Being a weekend I don't expect a response anytime soon. I just hope you don't drop this issue and continue to look into what could be going on with CS and the IE browser.

I know I will with a virtualbox so I can sandbox all the junk these browsers will want to install and I can hopefully narrow down what is happening with IE and fix i since there is no chance I plan to change. I know I might seem like an oddball but I am not the type who reinstalls the OS ever year hell I still have a 95 box from 96 that has NEVER been reinstalled only one repair. I get by with this by not installing and uninstalling lots of junk leaving the hive a corrupt mess. Drivers are the big issue, had an app written for me for installing that shows EVERY file and EVERY setting set everywhere and can undo them before a driver update. I just need to get another one written in 64-bit for all the newer OSes; if it can even be done. Sorry for going OT, just wanted to show I asn't trying to be rude early just my eccentric nature coming through. My apologies if it seemed other.
