Best Ranger Mercenarie?

<p>I am a lvl 35 Ranger just returning to EQ2 & was wondering what type of Mercenarie would be best to level up with ? ie: mostly solo ..</p><p>Thanks</p>

<p>I've always used an inquis merc, and it has worked very well for me.  Leveling up (if i can remember that far back) damage was never an issue, it was health, and the inquis merc works really well with cures etc.  If i started over levling today, probably what i would use (or another healer)</p>

<p>I use the Inquis one, but never really put a ton of thought into it.  I'd try that and maybe a pally and see which you like better.</p>

<p>Pally would not be a terrible choice at all.  They keep aggro like champs, good survivabilty for anything you will most likely do, which will allow you to actually be a ranger as you level.</p>
