ETA For working launchpad?

<p>I am posting here because the thread(s) in the support forum have had no official response for 24 hours and none of the suggested workarounds actually work.</p><p>Currently the launchpad is forcing all european players (and many others) onto the streaming client. This renders the game unplayable without a fast internet connection. GU63 is due to go live on affected servers in around 8 hours. So, in addition to euopean players getting the update 24 hours later than originally promised, most of them won't be able to play at all until the full download client becomes available again.</p><p>Sould someone at SOE confirm that this issue is still on the radar please.</p>

<p>The fix for this is in progress.  We hope to have it cleared up by end of day tomorrow.</p><p>As a temporary workaround, you can do the following:</p><p>Using Full patcher set to an international locale:</p><p>1. Patch your international locale normally, but don't hit 'Play'</p><p>2. Exit the patcher after patching</p><p>3. Browse to your install directory (you can right-click on your EQ2 shortcut and choose 'Properties' then click the 'Find Target' or 'Open File Location' button (depending on windows version) to get to your install directory)</p><p>4. Double-click on 'Everquest2.exe' directly to launch the game client</p><p>This will bypass the streaming arguments currently being put on the client by the patcher for the international locales.</p>

<p>GU63 is now live on every server and launcher is still broken on EU server (at least on Storms). When do you SoE fix it? Or maybe you're waiting 'till the P7S1 deal is live too, so you'll have nothing to do?</p>
