<p>I've seen the same complaint now in a few threads about the EU servers getting the GU after the US servers. </p><p>So I'm curious. In the past several years, when is the last time all the servers were patched at the same time for a GU that wasn't also the launch of a new paid for expansion? Does it happen very often? From reading the complaints today it would seem like it happens all the time.</p>

There's been no announcement for EU-Storms server ...</p><p>How many times will that lack of information and communication occure again? Is it that hard to make an announcement for ALL your player community? US and EU, english and non-english speaking?</p><p>By the way, is there still someone in charge of the French speaking community in this forum ?</p>

It's the second half of what we paid for long ago, but it got delayed becuase they were busy with something else. As such, it should have been on all servers at the same time. It also doesn't help that misinformation abounds. It was announced that Splitpaw would be down from 5am London Time on the 17th for the update. It also says on the launcher when you log in "Skyshrine is Live!" So if SOE is telling us in two places that we have the update, is it unreasonable to be a tad disappointed to discover that we're only getting it tomorrow?</p>

With the recent shadiness of the random items in the marketplace this seems to me to be nothing more than an underhanded attempt at generating some SC sales. What more could it be? <p>Where to start.</p><p>1) Laggy as hell but may just be my comp.</p><p>2) went from 100% vitality to 35% vitality just by logging in.</p><p>3) Ran into 2 bugged quests already. Bugged one and just gave up and logged out after the second one. I will try again in a few days when maybe they have fixed the bugs that should have been fixed before leaving test.</p><p>4) XP sucks in new areas. Not really complaining but have done probably 20 quests and killed a lot of mobs and have gotten less than 40% of a level (and yes my slider is where it should be and has been since I started in the new zone). 2 zones is not much so I am guessing they purposely lowered xp gain to make people level slower.</p>

<p>WELL DONE!!!</p><p>Lag is from over population, i was in WL 7 most the night, did very well.</p><p>Leveling by quests takes about 1% if your lucky per turn in. I turned in 15 quests and got only 4% in Tunare, but... I'm glad, Knowing that you can just farm Seb for your two levels in 2 hours is kind of crappy.</p><p>I enjoyed the content, and the buggy quests these people speak of, just needed a little TLC, stand in the right spot, hail him over and over a few times, and good to go.</p><p>Great job on the update, still waiting for mounts and more flying shinies, only got one tonight, can't find anymore.</p>

<p>#4 was not really a complaint Feldon, just a statement. As I said 2 levels is not much so they made it take longer to get there. If I wanted it that bad I would have just gone to another zone that wasn't lagging and powered through it in an hr as some people did.</p><p>And as far as overpopulation the poster above you said was the cause of the lag that was not the case as I was in Instance 7 with 47 people in it and was lagging badly, which is why I said it was possibly (and most likely) my computer due to age and basically being a crappy computer.</p><p>I also never stated I did not like the quests nor appreciate them, I said they were bugged, which was the truth. 1 of the bugs I managed a workaround with finally (which is the one mentioned by a poster above that you have to keep moving around and clicking until the hail works), the second one there was no workaround as no matter where I stood it did not work and others had the same problem, thus not me standing in the wrong spot. It was simply a bugged quest.</p><p>I think the content looks great, Will just be happy when I can play continually without the lag and hopefully without the bugs as running 11 toons through laggy bugged content is no fun.</p>
<p>I won't really have time to start the new content until Friday, but I'm looking forward to it. What I've read about it intrigues me. I'm in no rush to level the two levels and want to do all the quests. </p>

<p>I absolutely applaud the solo/duo/molo (solo+merc) content that's been added. I think we will see a lot of folks running this content for the challenge (the names have scripts and drop health/power/dps consumables usable within the 3 solo/duo instances). And the rewards for running these zones will be massive upgrades for people wearing Ry'Gorr and instance jewelry/cloaks/weapons.</p>

<p>Persistent bug which was reported during Testing: When you earn your a prestige point, you cannot spend it until you zone or camp to self.</p><p>I am very impressed with Skyshrine GU 63. The zone is beautiful. I am almost finished with the quest series to unlock the 3 heroic instances, and it was very enjoyable and challenging enough to keep my group's interest. There is a bottleneck step that is annoying in that you have to camp a contested heroic mob, battling groups that are trying to campsteal your mob. I love that the step prior, your group has to campsteal the mob from the NPC groups that is there. For scouts, the Shoulders and Boots rewards are BEASTLORD equipable only, while every other archaetype has multi-class equipable rewards. Please correct this ASAP and make it retroactive so those that have completed the quest arent shafted out of their correct rewards.</p>

I had about a dozen collections and over 20 quests to turn in as soon as GU 63 went Live. I suspect many players who had been maxed out had the same or many more turn ins ready to go.</p>

This was absurd! On Unrest last night at one point there were like half a dozen groups waiting for this update.In addition, further along in the questline, in the same zone, you have to harvest multiple items in 2 quests. The items all have an absurd respawn time as well. No reason what-so-ever to have to stand around and wait for respawns (for 15+ minutes each) in a contested zone to gain access to heroic instances.</p>

I ususally give 3-7 days after something this large goes live to fix major problems etc (I hate rollbacks).</p><p>Of course, this also has to come out when my last college semester is on so I won't be playing much anyway.</p>

That just made me laugh, thanks I needed that. "Isn't being acknowledged" LOL ... How many unacknowledged /bugs do you personally know about, not to mention the 1 or 2 you don't actually know about out of the thousands you do know about.</p><p>It happened to a few of my guild mates too ... and not to others ... but this is hardly something to get all worked up about when people are capped again after 2 hours.</p>

He was just simply stating there was no questbook over his head when you had one to turn into him.</p><p>On a note with the exp when you log in, it happened to me as well but no need to whine about it. I had about 37 percent vitality and after 2 hours of killing in Seb, I still had 7 percent left so it went down very, very slow so you don't need 100 percent anyway.</p>

I'm looking over the bug report, and I see a couple of things, but aside from Good to be the Queen, most everything appears to be cosmetic (not to say that it ALL is, but that's what I've seen so far). What did you find?</p><p>@Gravy Yeah, I know why Shirsha isn't showing her feather - it's the same issue that the strange spirit has, and it isn't an easy fix. I'll get to it though, and make sure the return books are showing up for you guys on both quests.</p><p>There's a few typos and text bugs that came through the typo reports too, so I'll get to those tonight or tomorrow. I might have misunderstood the issue, though.</p><p>However, the second part of that, where the pup is evidently staying after zoning or logging, is also an issue. I'll need to get that cleaned up.</p>

TBH, I acutally like it the way it is, becasue I'd NEVER know I had a quest stuck in my book becasue I wasn't puppy sitting. The only other thing they (SOE) could do would be to add a white screen message if the Pup died saying you failed.</p>

<p>Solo/Duo Missions: Portal disappears after completion, but it has a persistant instance that sticks around.(you can go back in by taking the same mission the next day, then reset the zone(or delete and pick a new one) to progress).</p><p>I'd like to go back in the same day, or have the instance reset on its own at the day mark so I don't weirdly get sent into the old one, which was very confusing at first.</p>
<p>The roleout of GU63 on the EU Servers are a desaster. How can it be that the day the GU should be released the login servers won't work. This is very dissappointing. But SOE do not really care about that.</p>

<p>With crafting, I felt the questing was a bit lean, but I love where things are right now with this recipe distribution and how the more advanced recipes and their rares are handled.</p>

<p>Cannot port to other instances of Skyshrine, I join a group, they are in Skyshrine 3 I am in Skyshrine 6, I cannot port to them to get into there instance. Please fix this.</p><p>Glad you are making the Gatecaller respawn faster there were 200 people on Freeport camping him, just crazy. You should have 3-4 of him till things die down.</p>

You can zone back out of it, and upon that zone out, you can choose which instance of Skyshrine you want to go to.</p>

<p>The new generic boot focuses don't seem to be functioning. I have heard of the dirge and Inquistor ones not applying and know for a fact I don't get a second trigger of Bloodletter from the quested boots on my SK and I don't get the extra 5% hate transfer from my assassin's quested boots. Not sure if it's limited to that particular item or something gamewide.</p>

The dog is not dead, in fact he still follows me in freeport and new halas. I don't notice him in non-player city zones. When I couldn't turn him in I called home for the night. Yesterday on log in the pup was still following me in my home. I logged and completed Return of a Gathering Obsession - don't think the pup was following in SF/DOV. I zoned to freeport to help a guildie and pup was following me again. I havent been back to try and turn him in again. <p>Yes, it follows me in WL, its a "lost drakkel pup" - something like that. I have not tried getting it killed and getting another. On my way back to the first WL camp to turn in quests I found the pup with a feather over its head, accepted his quest, turned in other updates, then followed the blue quest dot on my map. I found no "red book" npc to complete it and just tried clicking on the handler who was at the map location. <p>You need to have the pup still following you and the pup can get killed (and will get killed if you get hit by a mob doing some kind of group damage). Best way is get the pup, hop on the horse without getting seen by a satyr and go turn the quest in. The second quest after that one has the same problem, best way there is to get the pup (there's some to the west of K'val ruins), fly back to entrance, rince and repeat</p>

There's no reason you cannot use your level 80-90 masters and just replace your 91-92 apprentices as you get new masters.</p>

In this case the economy has been flooded with plat from it being far to easy to generate AND we are but a couple full days into the new level cap. So give the chees counterpart a rest and get back with us in a more reasonable amount of time.</p><p>Until then, there are thease crazy things that drop called ADEPTS, but ahh, you must again have a little patience to see them.</p><p>Oh, and what Feldon wrote too. The two level difference is going to make very little difference in resists anyway, which is really the only reason you would want to drop to less damaging/healing spell.</p><p>Edited to add: I forgot I read about this yesterday (when there were only a couple posts), but now it seems more people have chimed in. <p>I'll keep my feedback short and sweet since I gushed already all over eq2wire comments.</p><p>I love the art and the animations. Holgresh's are funny looking. The new ones are both comical and menacing at the same time. I also for one enjoy a good contested zone as well as heroic content and raids. </p><p>My constructive critism however would be either one of two things.</p><p>A) IF there is no plans for reitemization OR addition 91+ content through EofWar or ElementsOfW (hehe) or Planes of War or Drunder. Then your heroic content rewards/gear trivializes the need to do harder content. Which, in my opinion is a shame because Drunder and Elements/Plane of war=challenging menacing and make you grit your teeth and play hard. Because I don't know what the plans are.. my feed back is thus... Dov 1 is loot trivialized my Dov pt2. <p>So far a poor Update: First; your Community Manager doesn't know what day of the week it is. Second; heroic quest rewards being for Beastlord only if you are Scout Third; You fix the quest rewards and the class focus doesn't actually work, unless you are a beastlord. (Rianna's now uses a concentration slot, Dexterous Sonata does not receive a 3% addition to Crit Bonus for Dirges). Fourth; loot itemisation in the instances is well and truly buggered. Must be at least 75% priest so far. Fifth: Reused instances, far too much of this.. On a good point though: Enjoyed the Drakota fight, most amusing and challenging. </p>

LOTS of items were removed from the market place then, as they should of been.200-400p+ per rare on the broker?!? <p>The current request for 280AA to zone in the new map is a punishment to new player, with the first char in game, i need 1 hour for every my AA points, and it will take me a month to get there, which I think this is a very long boring leveling process for a LV90 Char.</p><p>I know lots of ppl claim they can get it with short time with various of XP bouns, but i think a game shall be friendly to new players as well, and this is really frustrating to prohibit me to join the current events with friend in lv92 zone.</p><p>So, please fixed it! Makr some consideration to new comers! then we can have more to join this EQ2 world.</p><p>Imagine it, new player wont know the need AA to go new zone, the wont know it would be so hard at cap level. The player comes to experience, and they probably will give up...</p>

Theres lots of content out the for new comers. </p><p>But Ill apologize for SOE though for creating new content designed to give players with toons that are lvl 90 and tons of AA who have been running the same zones since the War of Zek update a new challange.</p>

In all honesty, a lot of us still don't because real money for imaginary items is a bit silly when you can get imaginary items for imaginary currency in the game.</p><p>My advice to you, since I assume you've never done this before, is either buy the rares at the high prices for all 9 spells you get (versus the 25-30 we used to purchas in the past) from the broker and have them made, buy the spells pre-made from the broker as you can snag them, harvest the rares and make them yourself, or run zones and wait for masters to drop.</p><p>As always, your options to wait until the price comes down to something you feel like paying or simply using the older tier masters and holding onto the new armor pieces with the higher level focus until you get that one mastered are also available.</p><p>Those of us who run zones and harvest are so terribly sorry that we can't throw them up on the broker fast enough to meet your specific needs so that you need to do as much to get them on your own through the game as you could through the marketplace, which equates to: a whole lot of lazy nothing.</p>

<p>Templar prestige ability is not working.</p><p>Divine Fate of Healing is supposed to heal all raidmembers, but it is still only healing groupmembers. And yes, I am positive I am casting the new prestige spell and not the old Healing Fate.</p>
<p>I didn't really get to play any until Friday in the new DOV part 2 area. I must say I'm really enjoying this. I love the art of the zones. The quests are fun. And so far I'm really enjoying Skyshrine. <img src="/eq2/images/smilies/e8a506dc4ad763aca51bec4ca7dc8560.gif" border="0" /></p>

I have taken my low adventure/L90 Provi who has only about 20-something AA into Withered Lands. If you needed that, then all of the other low adventure/L90 crafters wouldn't be able to enter the area for their crafting quest for books.</p><p>Am I missing something? I thought that 280 AA was only for leveling past L90? One of my alts doesn't have 290 yet, she's a L90 Wizard/L90 Sage and I was able to take her into WL without problem. The 280 aa points are only needed to level your adventurer from 90 to 92. You can level in tradeskilling, do all the quests, etc. You just can't advance past 90 until you get the aa.</p>

Is it possible to make the gear that pops from the Skyshrine Solo quest reward actually match the toon's archetype? My main is a mage, and every time I've run it, I've received priest gear (Wis Sta). Is this working as intended, or do I need to submit a /bug? </p>

<p>I just had an awesome idea. How about making the gear drops from the solo quest turn in lore, then make it where if we already have a given gear item in our inventory, it skips to the next available item? That way, if we run the zone enough times, we'll eventually get gear that our toon can use. (Although, given my luck, there are probably hundreds of non-mage gear items I'd have to make space for in my inventory just so I could make it <em>to</em> the mage gear.)</p>

<p>Obtaining the tradskill apprentice in Dracur Prime (advanced Solo) is bugged there are several posts on this and not one red name has admitted the problem. I have 6 tradeskillers to start researching and I cant even get one. Its going to take forever to get theses recipes researched PLEASE FIX NOW so I can get started. Atleast admit theres a bug for the love of god.</p>

To get multiple gems the toon that runs the event must trade the gem to your TS alts so they can set it up..rinse repeat.</p>

I have several 92/90 toons and run the TS researcher event with them after they have a TS researcher up and running in their house. The event continues to fire regardless whether you have a TS researcher running or not.</p><p>The event has been bugging out, for me at least, the last few days. However, after having it bug out and not fire correctly on Tuesday & Wednesday, the event fired and ran fine Thursday night. So, I picked up 4 more TS researchers, while researching recipes.</p>

<p>It's only the first iteration of the Event/gem on Test that was bugged and didn't allow to redo the event. Live event can be repeated (except for EU servers which are lacking a patch as usual)</p>

Erm ....</p><p>And no shield choice or 2 hander?</p>
