[BUG] Porto Bunglefoot: Preserving the Flank

<p>Its been posted and bugged several times and tomorrow is GU 63 and has yet to be fixed and no response if it will be fixed!</p><p>The beginning quest for crafters is bugged!</p><p>Porto Bunglefoot who offers the first quest for crafters,<strong> Preserving the Flank</strong> will NOT accept the finished products and has no book after you make the 5 combines which update your journal to turn it in!</p><p>Currently the only work-a-round is to re-hail several times, which he repeatedly gives you more ingredients:</p><p>You: Hail, Porto Bunglefoot</p><p>Porto: "Oh! So, you've lost the salts I gave you? Here's some more... be more careful this time!"</p><p>*<span style="color: #ff0000;">no I didn't lose them I finished making five 'A Barrel of Smoked Mammoth Meat' and no I dont need more salt but thanks? still no book</span>*</p><p>You: Hail, Porto Bunglefoot</p><p>Porto: "Oh! So, you've lost the mammoth meat I gave you? Here's some more... be more careful this time!"</p><p>*<span style="color: #ff0000;">ok he gave me meat this time and still no book /sighs</span>*</p><p>You: Hail, Porto Bunglefoot</p><p>"Oh! So, you've lost the recipe I gave you? Here's another copy... be more careful this time!"</p><p>*<span style="color: #ff0000;">no I didn't lose the salt, no I didn't lose the meat and NO I didn't lost the darn recipe</span>!*</p><p>So he won't accept the fact you have completed the questline by crafting the items and it says its completed n your journal.  He just has to re-issue all the items through the 3 hails before he will pop a book over his head and take what you have drafted.</p><p>This work-a-round will have to be macro'ed for tomorrow <img src="/eq2/images/smilies/2786c5c8e1a8be796fb2f726cca5a0fe.gif" border="0" /></p>

<p>So, he wont let you turn in the quest until you get the items back that you used in the recipe to update the step? I think I know the problem. I will try to get this included in as soon as possible.</p>

<p>Porto's second quest: <strong>Replacement Supplies</strong></p><p>The quest seems to work fine.  They fixed the quest by making it require the fuel for that tier which was necessary.  However they seemed to have miscalculated the fule cost for the reward?</p><p>Each of the 3 recipes you get when you scribe<strong> [Camp Supplies, Revision II] </strong>requires 3 effulgent fuel per combine and the quests asks that you make 3 each of the 3 recipes.</p><p>Thats 9 effulgent coal for the barricade, 9 effulgent filaments for the bear tents and 9 effulgent sandpaper for the crates.</p><p>3 x 9 = 27 total fuels</p><p>27 X 1 gold, 80 silver = 48 gold, 60 silver.</p><p>Fine until you turn the quest in as you only get 33 gold, 11 silver, 56 copper.  But you also get the advanced 91 recipe book.  So I guess they are charging us for the book!!! <img src="/eq2/images/smilies/97ada74b88049a6d50a6ed40898a03d7.gif" border="0" /></p><p><strong>What I am thinking happened, was originally there were no fuels required for the recipes and when the quest was updated to require the T10 fuels, they forgot to add reimbursement of fuel costs!</strong></p>
