This is a plee to all GMs for help on this matter, and a final attempt to keep SOE in my life. The following is a transcript of what has been a losing battle over a simple issue (or at least what should have been simple) from my first SOE account. this is in cronological order from most recent to oldest replies***************************************Customer ******soe via CSS Web 04/13/2012 04:41 PMThis is EXTREMELY disappointing to me, and angers me quit a bit, your basically saying what you can do for me is nothing? no level up, no "buff kit" that does anything other than provide me with with an incomplete set of starter zone loot armor, which I can already loot and also claim from vet rewards on my own, no restoration of any of my characters as they are ancient and the server no longer exists, and am now again out $20 that I dumped into the game to be able recreate the characters class/races as they where locked due to the game going free to play, and being told I had to do this on this account in order to get any help at all ..... I am basically getting the big FU bend over and take it again...At this point it seems to me, that SOE cares very little for veterans and long time subscribers, you can see not only from this account but from ALL other accounts I have, that I have supported SOE diligently for over 10 years, through game purchases, monthly subs, and SC purchases. To get to this point AGAIN, and be left with and even worst feeling than before, after getting my hopes up from less than a handful of TSRs that actually care to their job in providing excellent customer service and support, is unacceptable.I will lie in wait and give this some more time, if in the end, the resolution turns out the same, and I was made to dump cash into an account that had NOTHING AT ALL for me to invest in. SOE will be losing my support FOREVER. Any assets remaining on any accounts I have will be liquidated over time, but I will NEVER purchase or support another SOE product again. I expected so much more from you all, and I guess I am to blame for that, businesses are after all just money making machines that care nothing for their customers, beyond getting more things out for them to buy, and line their pockets with more money.Response GM Deodan via Email 04/10/2012 06:32 PM******,After my reply to you here, I also found some information I think might be useful to you. I noticed you elected to start the characters you made in Crescent Reach. If you'd like, it seems that our developers have made a way for player to re-enter the Tutorial zone (if they meet the zone requirements of being under level 10). You are welcome to do that, using the instructions posted here at:http://forums.station.sony.com/eq/p...topic_id=185472- Secalna Galnor can now send you to the tutorial if you are level 10 or lower. This update will happen tomorrow, but dev decided to let the player base know this in advance.Regards,GM DeodanResponse GM Deodan via Email 04/10/2012 05:40 PMHi ******, Senior SOE GM Deodan here, thanks so much for waiting as we handle our petition queue.******, as a final courtesy to you, I have provided the following:1) Leg-up kits for all of your characters. Please bear in-mind you cannot equip the items until you reach level 10. I'm not certain that the items will be better than what you can earn via quests, but at least it is gear you can start with (that you're not naked any longer).2) I have provided (and consumed) some potions of Amnesia for each of your characters. Unfortunately, the names you used to have are not longer available in our system for your use. I regret that we cannot change this, but I will gladly leave the option for you to change your name live on these three characters. To change their names to something more desirable, just use the command /changename.3) I have provided you some experience potions you may use to gain some levels. I regret that we will be unable to grant your character's prior levels due to circumstances.[EQ] EverQuest Reimbursement Policyhttp://soe-ing.custhelp.com/app/ans...tail/a_id/16215Regards,Senior Game Master DeodanEverQuestSony Online EntertainmentCustomer ****** soe via CSS Web 04/08/2012 10:36 PMit appears that there are 2 ongoing tickets to this issue, the ticket # 120330-000892 is the ticket that TSR James M. last produced for me, he was the one taking care of everything, I don't really remember how this ticket ended up being created, but hopefully there is no confusion caused by it.Customer ****** soe via CSS Web 04/08/2012 10:32 PMOk, against all my common sense I paid for station cash and unlocked the races/classes in order to create my main characters again. The server would not allow my to have my Names (******(Druid), ******(Monk)), so I added a o to the end of the names to see if this is something you could remedy as well. I did have a question as well regarding the leg up/buff kits, is that going to put them close to the levels that they where at? I had my Monk and Beast near 60, the druid around 35ish.Also as I could not live without my Necro either, (Used to be Named ******, lvl 45ish) I created a Necro. When I discussed the level issue with TSR James M. he had said he would speak to you guys (GMs), because to his knowledge leg-up/buff kits did not do anything level-wise, so I would be stuck re-leveling them all up again. Hopefully I can come home to some good news tomorrow after work, I was EXTREMELY reluctant to spend any cash at all during this process as I am still in fear of again going through everything that happened last time, but TSR James M. has restored some confidence in you guys for me. (crossing my finger's) Thank you again in advance.Response GM Felthius via Email 04/08/2012 11:25 AMHail Adventurer! GM Felthius here.According to our records, the three new characters have not yet been created on Povar - Quellious. Once the three characters have been created, please reply to this petition at your earliest possible convenience so that we can then grant the Leg Up Kits you requested. If you have any other questions or concerns, please include them with your reply. But I will provide you with my old info from when they where on Stormhammer, and a summary of what has transpired.Station ID: ******Original Character Name(s): Dreadfist Swiftclaw (Iksar Monk), Fynix Windryder(Halfling Druid), Gorval Dewolfe(Barbarian Beastlord) these where my three main characters.Server: They where on StormhammerZone: N/AName of Quest/Item/Mob: N/AApprox. Date/Time: GM Islianna stated she tried to restore them but failed, they where deleted in 2002Detailed but concise description of the issue: (Brace yourselves) Originally I had been offered leg up kits to recreate these three characters on my main Station account ****** , but then after I went thru a lot of work to install, pay for a month on eq, then convinced to pay for the station pass, ending up with 3 different subs on one account eqII was the third, I called back to have the leg up kits applied, and GM Islianna informed the TSR I was on the phone with that that would actually not be done... so of course I got very angry/upset, I was told to call back after thinking about what I would like to be done, as they would only allow me to pay for a sub (ANOTHER ONE) on my ****** account, and create three new characters on that account for the leg up kits.So i thought about it and could not get over the fact that I was made to go through all that work and paid for 3 subs on 2 games, just to be told I was decieved and it would not be done that way, so i called back and spoke with TSR Crystal B, who got got all of the subs credited back to my credit card, along with a free month of game time on EQII for all the grief I was put through, I decided to let the whole situation go at the time, as I lost all desire to even play the game anymore let alone pay for another sub just to get those characters made...So to make an extremely long story short, as the game has gone free to play now, and I would not be required to pay for a monthly sub just to get my characters remade, I am requesting to proceed with the leg up kits on 3 new characters, which I will create on one of the existing servers(Povar- Quellious), I will try to make the names the same to help you out as the TSR recommended.***********************************************I really can't believe things have gotten to this point =(
