Ganak. I've always loved capture the flag in any game, so naturally this is my favorite map. Plus I think 12 v 12 is a good size. I really like Den a lot too though, especially when there is some amount of raid voice chat and coordination.

also, ib4 tundra.

Ganak has always been my favorite. I'm happy though with Den and Gears too. Den there's just too much travel time and too long to take a tower solo. I like the Tundra map, but not the game. Hate the pve mobs. Would like to see them turn it into something like the Alderaan warzone in TOR (control points, but smaller map than Den..

Ganak, a 12v12 capture the flag where slows, roots and cc effects count for everything just that much more and you have to think about defence and offence rather than jump to middle, blow stuff up. Shame 12v12 automatically = forzen tundra these days.

I ALMOST hate Smugglers as much as Tundra, way way way too much time running around... and Tundra... uhg.. SoE always trying to add PvE to PvP... Ganak is an awesome map but Gears is the best by far. Close range, no one can really run. Player vs player without having to deal with pesky scrubs always running Mmmmmm.

The pve mobs are less of an issue since they can be killed quickly and the towers/gates can actually be destroyed. It wasn't scaled down properly for t4.

Plus, I don't think 90s really care what map they're playing since they usually skip map objectives and just pile up and play deathmatch (main reason 90s isn't very fun).

The only map that actually sticks to its preset rules about player size is klakanon, outside of that there are VERY few maps that stick to the limits. For example, I've seen a lot of tundra with more than 18 v 18, and I can't remember the last time I did a ganak where it stopped adding players at just 12 v 12, they always seem to end up 18 v 18. That map is in no way big enough for more than 12 v 12.

Anyway, as to the original question, it's a tie for me between klakanon and smugglers den. Never was a fan of ganak particularly, they should have just called it Ranger's Revenge. Tundra obviously isnt very good (especially if you have to play it 7/10 times, but then all maps get old if you have to play them repeatedly) but I think if it was limited to 12 v 12 it would probably be a lot better (at level 90 anyway).
