I hope they outlaw double xp in EQ3! It is the biggest reason why all lower lvl zones from T2 to T8 are now obsolete. No one has to run lower lvl zones because SoE is spoon feeding them Exp and AA during these weekends. Nor does anyone even have the desire to do so anymore because they know that another x2 weekend is right around the corner and they can just spend 1 day following around a raid geared crusader as he pulls room after room of the same mobs. Is that adventure? Is it challenging? I dare say it’s not even fun. It’s a means to an end carried out in a lifeless, mechanical fasion.

SoE, this isn’t what made the name Everquest great. The Everquest that I am nostalgic about is when 6 players ‘have no choice’ but to band together at all lvls to earn EXP and AA as they run quests and fight new mobs and experience new zones. Whether it be Fallen Gate, Obelisk of Lost Souls or Nizara. People grouped together in all tiers, all the time because that is how you progressed thru this game. You did it NOT alone with a merc but with other players as you experienced the satisfaction of conquering a new challenge.

Sadly those days are gone and it now seems SoE’s priority is not making a great and challenging mmo that people want to play but instead their focused on boosting Station Cash revenue as they dilute the game in order to make it more palatable to the casual and Free to Play player who is so fickle he or she won’t have the resolve to stick around anyway and meanwhile their back door is bigger than their front door.

I would be very interested to see how many accounts SoE has lost just since the launch of “The Shadow Odyssey”. Sadly, I'll be apart of that statistic soon as well.

Why does it say (Noon) today when everyone online is saying it started at 12:01am this morning? Can anyone confirm? Cause it's lame that they posted Noon when it was midnight.
