I tried to log in a few days ago and I started getting video artifacts and textures started smearing on the screen. Within a minute the computer was locked up and I had to reboot. Thinking it was my video card, I installed 3 games to futher test the video card to make sure that was the problem before setting a RMA to my card manufacturer. I tried them all out and everything runs great and full graphics. Come back to EQ2 its seems to run smoother now but still getting a lot of screen flickering even though the FPS is 50-60. Not sure what is causing this. I didn't make any changes. Drivers are updated. Any suggestions?

That does sound very much like hardware failure - you may wish to get a temperature monitoring utility to check and see if you're overheating (if you are, a case fan, or even something as simple as cleaning the card with canned air may help) - past that there are a number of utilities out there that will stress your video card and let you check for artifacting - 3dmark is the most notable one, run that and have it loop a few times, see if you start getting artifacts.
