Someone I know is also having this problem. They can run other games fine, even maxed out. But when they play EQ2 it locks up their entire system and they have to cut power to the tower to restart.

By crash, do you mean a hard lockup/reboot/bluescreen? I see a number of windows errors in your Msinfo that are a bit concerning, a few update failures as well as some fault bucket reports.

One thing I'm curious if you've tried, is have you tried blanking out all your game/UI settings? If not, please try these steps:

You may want to make backups and then delete the following files and folders in your EverQuest 2 directory:

cache folder (does not apply to Steam users)eq2_recent.inieq2_default.iniEverQuest2.exee q2.ini

As well as the character specific files, these will appear as follows:<ServerName>_<CharacterName>_EQ2_uisettings.ini<StationName>_characters.ini

Next, delete the configuration files/folder by following these instructions:1. Open the EverQuest II LaunchPad. (Do not login at this time.)2. Click Advance Tools, Open Game Directory, then close the LaunchPad.3. Look for any files explained above and delete them.4. Close all open folders and restart EverQuest II using the LaunchPad to login and play.

If deleting these files does not resolve your issue, you can restore your backed up files and folders and retain your hotkeys, contact lists, and display settings.

Ditto here after today's patch.

Anywhere from 2 minutes to 45 minutes after I log in, my whole PC hard locks. I have to hold the power button for 4 seconds to power off and reboot that way.

Have not had this problem ever prior to today.

Also, immediately after logging on after the patch, when casting a spell/CA, the reuse timer for the spell/CA would show 23 days 11 hours before it could be reused.

The 23hr cooldown time is a display error. If you check your system (windows) clock you'll likely see it's off by about a day. If you fix that it should fix the cooldown display issue.

As to the lockups, this may be due to you using the streaming asset packs, as many users got bugged and forced on to that setting with a recent update. We've got a fix scheduled for this coming tuesday.

I am also having this issue. When I get to the character slection screen, the waterfall gets choppy for a second, sound stutters, then crash to desktop. Happens every single time I do it, and at about the same amount of time passes each time before it crashes.

Again, this is at the character selection screen. Can't get past that.
