On Easymode Underdepths the zone over all was a breeze up until the very last named. There were a few named that did have challenge modes to them, we made a few attempts at them and decided to move on waranted that the zone may be long and was unsure of the scale. Our group setup was pally mystic inquis assassin coercer dirge. Overall I think that the loot in the zone needs to be improved. The loot from the other heroic zones was better and including rare trash drops from the contested was better also. There were a few pieces in there that was decent but nothing that would make you go... OMG I WANT THAT NAO! The zone was pretty simple and could be solo healed up to the last boss. I would'nt change too many of the fights some of them definitly posed as a challenge, if anything make them harder Can't wait to see the raid version of it......

1. Tel'koran Crimsonmaw -

Easy fight... have to kill adds like a normal add fight. No major aoes. Cure like normal fights. Combined group heals were approx 17k hps. Group dps was 882k.

2. Theldek the Stinger -

Burn fight - as you kill the named drakes spawn. We just straight burned the named with 782k group dps. By the end of the fight however we did have about 30 drakes. Combined heal parse was approx 28k hps.

Dagarn-

Real basic burn fight again. Cure the aoes. Cure the dets if anything like a normal fight. About 90% the named red texted saying to use a vial that was looted previously to activate challenge mode. IF you use the vial the named goes to 100% hp then turns into Dagarn the Destroyer. On easy mode the fight was really simple. Adds spawn about half way through the fight... they have alot of hp.

Dagarn the Destroyer [Challenge]

Almost the same as the easy mode from what we could tell... Definitely has alot more hp though. We were only able to get it to the point where the adds spawned and the first single curse went out. Single curse is a charm... The adds do major damage. I personally got 1 shot on a 52k hp inq by the adds. The named did say "should the two meet in devestation" not sure what that means or if it is relavant. Also casts a buff like VP wurm mobs that gives the mob a 100% reposite and a chance of reflect.

Balor the Primeval

Mob is rooted on the bridge. Does knockbacks and teleports and other fun stuff... By the end of the fight there is a fun surprise. NO SPOILER FOR YOU! Easy fight though.

Conflagrator Belkreiz Blazeclaw

Not sure if he is broken or something but he died in 25 seconds flat. He casts fire circles, no problems. But our group dps on this mob was extremly high for some reason. 1.3 million group dps and 6500 hps. Probably needs to be buffed up.

Ikatiar - Sleeping dragon in the big room

Pretty easy dont even remember the fight. Turn and burn and win. Has a challenge mode also.

Sevalor Gorescale

Fun fight I wouldn't change it at all. Lots of surprises for fellow adventurers. Only took 8k hps though.

Malteor Flamecaller

Another fight I wouldn't change at all. Was fairly simple.. Combined heals for the group was around 22k hps.

Dozekar

This is by far the most fun fight I have seen in the update so far. All I have to say is... TURN YOUR SOUND ON. Im not going to spoil the fight but i will say that the difficulty is aprox 5x harder than any other named in the zone excluding the challenge modes. AND this mob has a challenge mode also... We killed the mob with approx 20k hps, and 500k group dps. The fight took 5:54. THE NAMED DIDNT DROP LOOT EITHER /cry.

BTW... Thanks Gninja

REACTIVEGNOME

Crushbone INQUISITOR!

Really fun zone. Other than some minor increases in trash HP/ difficulty (not too much but they literally melted with aoe autos) As well as a few boosts in either HP or general difficulty for the Non-Challenge mode mobs. The Final bosses Introduction which triggers upon entering the final chamber is probably the best voice over ive ever heard in EQ and was really bad a$$. The only non heroic mob that was a handful to deal with was the second to last in the zone, Malteor Flamecaller. The only mobs that had Challenge mode versions available were: Dagarn the Destroyer Ikatiar the Venom and The boss . Dozekar the Cursed.

Loot does need tweaking

Achievements for the encounter and the zone were not awarded.

look into trash mob HP as well as the non challenge mode named (except Malteor Flamecaller and Sevalor Gorescale, they seem to be pretty balanced encounters)

Cannot wait to run it again!

Also as the OP stated, on the named "Conflagarator Belkreiz Blazeclaw" it appeared that most of my large attacks hit x2 as hard to the tune of a 2.2 million Fatal Followup and 1.4m Shadowstep. Not sure if there is a buff similar to the one that is in "Forgotten Pools" (under the red trees) tied into this encounter but probably should be looked at. He died so fast i didnt even know what happened.

(00:21) Conflagrator Belkreiz Blazeclaw: 1575937 Controlledx-Fatal Followup-2226429Con | 799230Uca | 228344Rea | 192076Zaf | 186689Dep | 169598

this zone was by far the most fun and best looking of all the zones so far, and it has a raid verison which I bet is just as fun, if not funner

Most people playing the game are not running around in raid gear, much less HM raid gear. We don't need another Drunder fiasco where we have a handful of instances that are useless for the majority of the playerbase as anything but a raider playground for months on end until they're finally tuned down.

I also noticed that several (If not all) mobs in this zone took damage and procs from Bane of the Kromzek. Not sure if its intended but there are no Giants in this zone. Unless you consider the "osseus" mobs Giants.

Holy run-on sentence batman. 11 commas in a single sentence is a little bit excessive wouldn't you think? OT: Running this zone later this afternoon if the zoning issue has been fixed. (Was zoning everyone into separate zones as of yesterday.)

From what we have seen so far in just the heroic zones... this content update is making me excited about eq2 again. BTW instead of making comments about someone's grammar please comment something constructive.

My gear is not subpar, don't get me wrong. But the zone was a breeze with current gear, and as understood in the past from previous statements from dev's and GM's this content is suppose to be a progression step higher than what we currently kill on live servers. The expected content should be harder even with the best gear.

Cleared this zone tonight without any trouble until we reached the final name. For whatever reason this name was invisible to us the entire encounter which made pulling him a bit harder then it should have been. Bridge boss was a sneaky little bugger and managed to get me killed at 15%, I wont spoil the reason behind it as a previous poster didn't spoil it for me

Many lulz were had by all in my group! Haha. Dozekar was not Invis to us (obviously since theres a screenie of him right? lol) But he wasn't a pushover, thats for sure the rest of the zone was relatively easy. Did you guys spend any time on the Challenge modes? We went back in last night and spent about 30 minutes pulling HM Dagarn, Lowest we got him was about 48%. Our tank had to bail so we didnt get to spend as much time as we would have liked but hopefully we can get back in there and figure it out.

We pulled all of the HM encounters at least once to get a feel of the difficulty. We managed to get Dagarn to about 50% on our first pull (We had rather high dps, 1.2mil+). Going back this afternoon/tonight to work on these HM encounters. They may need to be toned down a bit due to the damage output but it is definitely nice having such challenging HM encounters.
