The crit mit has been removed; however, the stats have not been adjusted and that loses progression for the armor pieces. The following are the stats (fury's used). The drunder x 2 is far superior to the easy mode x4. If you are wearing the heroic version, not sure it is even worth it to change to GrD x4 EM. The Drunder x2 had lower crit mit than the EM x4. I realize that EW is after GrD; however, the heroic piece being essentially the same as the EM x4 does not seem right; neither does it seem right that any x2 is superior to a x4 zone in the same expansion. It wasn't that way before the crit mit removal.

Note: all pieces of armor are affected but I'm focusing on the chest pieces.

Tower of Tactics, Heroic (Venerable Tunic of the Stormbringer)

+120 wis/sta

Two Adornment Slots: Red & White

17.6% Crit Bonus

6% Potency

7.5% Ability Casting Speed

Celestial Restoration II

Drunder x 2 (Ethereal Tunic of the Stormbringer)

+147 wis/sta

Two Adornment Slots: Red & White

19.8% Crit Bonus

7.3% Potency

9.4% Ability Casting Speed

Celestial Restoration II

GrD Easy Mode x 4 (Stormbringer's Resplendent Tunic)

+123 wis/sta

Two Adornment Slots: Red & White

16.5% Crit Bonus

6.1% Potency

7.8% Ability Casting Speed

Celestial Restoration II

GrD Hard Mode x 4 (Stormbringer of Sanctified Tunic)

+151 wis/sta

Three Adornment Slots: Red, White & Yellow

20.8% Crit Bonus

8.4% Potency

10.4% Ability Casting Speed

Celestial Restoration III

Stat Rankings

HEROIC Tower of Tactics

EM x4, not sure that it is even worth it for an upgrade as you lose crit bonus and gain a negligble amt of wis/sta

Drunder x 2

HM x4

Even though the stats were extremely close and, in some cases, the stats were better on gear that is acquired easier, the crit mit made a difference. Now, it's not right. Pls fix the chest pieces. (I'm not asking for a nerf of the easier zones; rather, that you make the higher zone pieces better.) TY.

Zam has several other chests listed that are from raid zones but I have not made it to Plane of War so didn't list them. Please look at ALL raid zone chests. TY. See one example below.

ZONE?
All of these items will be rendered obsolete by Skyshrine heroic content with the release of GU63, so I see no reason for the developers to waste resources changing them. Remember, every item you will ever get in this game will eventually become worthless, that is how progression-centric games like EQ2 function. Just move on, get the newest stuff, and forget about it. These items have had their time in the sun, and now it is dusk.
