I have not gotten that far yet, but have heard others say there is a quest to make the skys in Withered Lands safe for flight travel. I feel that there needs to be a crafting version of this because some of us may have low level adventurers/high level crafters. Or did those of us that have multiple level 90 crafters, some simply for the ability to be able to use the crafting version of the flying griffin, which took a week to quest for in DOV1, take the time to get the ability to fly for nothing, since my little level 9 wizard, level 90 sage/xmuter/adorner is going to get squashed like a bug out there NOT because she can't avoid red agro (as proven by having done just that in Fens for the Master Crafter series), but because she has to worry about where she falls when she gets knocked out of the sky by that dragon, as there is no crafting quest as of yet to "make the skies safe".

/supported. So far we could always harvest and do the quests without too much troubles in all tiers but this zone is definatedly not crafter friendly and unlocking the ability to fly in the zone without getting squashed would certainly help lowbies adventurers.

I was surprised that this wasn't included from them start. I'm hoping that it's being worked on to be included before the testing time is over.

Add me to that list. I have 9 level 90 crafters, and 1 up and coming permanent test crafter, most of which don't adventure other than the occassional holiday quest. They always do all the crafting quests so being able to navigate an area is important.

Also, is the new drake mount I've heard about a quested item? If it is, I sure hope there is or is going to be a crafter version of that questline (even if it's a different color like the gryphons were).

+1 for this, too many alts as it is, and the 20/90's will need flying more than anyone else.

HR

Agreed. In the past, crafting quests were tested BY DEVELOPERS to make sure they were doable by lvl 10ish adventurers. From what I've seen, the idea of a high level crafter/low level adventurer didn't even enter the developers's minds this time when they made the crafting content.

I think the main tradeskill timeline should port you to next stop as is the case in the Moors of Ykesha timeline. There's tons of mobs around and having to cross the zone with our little feet if the mobs are an angry red will be a challenge.

Yes! Please! Only one of my many crafters is level 90 adventurer so this would be a huge helping hand in avoiding many, many a death in Withering Lands.

Same here. My main is 90 adventure/90 tailor and three of my other 90s crafters are in their 80s for adventuring but I also have one that's only in her 50s. She'd be really squishy

Whilhelmina@Storms wrote:

I think the main tradeskill timeline should port you to next stop as is the case in the Moors of Ykesha timeline.
