View Full Version : Actions that trigger spell weapons when they shouldn't

<p>There are certain actions (not always a spell) that are triggering spell weapons to begin auto attacking. This includes swapping weapons (in this case, swapping from Iilsaad's Control Rod to Flail of Zealous Blasting, which are NOT spell weapons...), mentoring, or Chronoing... This NEEDS to be fixed. If you aren't going to give us the choice to fully disable spell auto attack, at least fix instances where it turns on when it shouldn't.</p>

<p>You can add the conjuror spell "Essence shift" to the list.</p>
<p>If i remember correctly Call to city may trigger it, any buf also trigger it (e.g spirit of the bat, priest hp buf).</p><p>The list of what had been abandonned grows faster than the list of what have been fixed : dungeon finder, deities, shattered infection, the idea of different AA for different classes, 24 gear set (we are down to 6), ranged auto attack ....</p>

<p>I wish ranged autoattack would only come on when attacks spells are on. Since I proc heal with melee and do a lot more damage with my two handed colossal reactant weapon, switching hurts both my healing and dps when if I cast of the the 3 attack spells I cant convert to melee with aa. With only 4 melee hits, that almost half my dps abilities that I can not use. Yes, i have to use a want instead of a symbol because there is no colossal reactant symbols. Wish I had known before I made it. I wold have made something else instead.</p>
