Problems From Not Levelling Past 90 on Test Server

<p>So, currently we can't level past 90 on Test server. This may be deliberate, or an oversight. There's talk going around in test.test about this but no reliable facts. This IS however going to have repercussions for your regular testers who play on Test, so please, we need an explanation and a solution fast.</p><p>Gninja posted "<span >We will be getting a beta buffer NPC setup today that will grant you a consumable that unlocks the ability to level beyond level 90. If it gives out the buffing baubles that drop AA to 300 (as reported from TestCopy) then it's no good for us!</p><p>The main issues I see are:</p><p>1. We're player-testers, and we're using our REAL characters to test for you. If we run these quests and don't level up from the xp, we can't go back and do it again to level up after the GU goes to Live.</p><p>2. Surely we need to be level 92 to test Skyshrine zones? In which case we won't be able to go on to test that if we're not levelling up right now in Withered Lands.</p><p>In many ways it would have been simpler to have had a beta server for the GU, who cares if it's not called an expansion. But since we don't, Test and TestCopy should have both been viable. But if Test is not viable and we need to start again on TestCopy then we need to be told this ASAP please, before we do ourselves out of the content we need to level up.</p><p>I'm hoping it's just an oversight and no one thought about Test players. And that all we really need is a unlocking bauble for Test that has no other affect on our characters, AAs etc. Right?</p>

<p>I thought Gninja had said earlier today that the patch tonight was supposed to fix the leveling past 90 problem without the bauble. Did it not do that? (no where near 90 adventurer on test so I can't test that part).</p>

And every hour that passes I'm going deeper into Withered Lands on my main and not levelling beyond 90.</p><p>I'm planning to do a lot of testing over the weekend and I NEED to know whether to give up now and switch to TestCopy or not.</p><p>When I get to the end of Withered Lands, I won't have a character suitable for testing Skyshrine at this rate.</p>

<p>YAY! We have unlockers! Thank you!</p><p>*phew*</p><p>Gninja has put a ton of them on the Test broker. All they do is let you move the xp slider again, nothing else happens to your toon. I also have a stack he gave me I can hand out.</p>

Doesn't work so far on Tradeskills.</p>

I play on both Test and Live these days. So don't write off anyone who ever touched a Live server. <img src="/smilies/8a80c6485cd926be453217d59a84a888.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></p><p>But yeah, I'd bet only half of those who copy to TestCopy are there to test, the other half are tourists and hence unfortunately you get that kind of behaviour.</p>
