Can log into EQ2Players but NOT into EQ2 itself after March 14th patch

<p>Just downloaded the March 14th patch - I can log into EQ2Players with my account (station name and pswd) just fine but the exact same station id and pswd will NOT log me into EQ2. Instead I get a dialog box telling me I have to change my password, clicking that link gives me a message that the server has timed out - taking too long to respond.</p><p>Is anyone else having a similar issue?</p>

<p>There are a few threads started about this already. Many of us are having the same issue and they're looking into it. Hopefully we'll see some results soon. I'm quite displeased about having a game I can't play.</p>

<p>This is just awful. I had been thinking about coming back to this game after a 6 year hiatus...and now I can't log in!?? I was trying to get my significant other to play this game with me and wanted him to check it out. But he really has no patience for games you can't even log into. Can anyone tell me if issues like this is normal for EQ2? I may just save myself the aggravation and money.</p>

Most times when they patch its back up EARLY as opposed to late. They do have these moments though where i want to bang my head against wall. But they are far fewer then times they are up earlier then expected. <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></p>
