Login rejected: Invalid username or password

<p>The launchpad works find and shows me logged in, I was even able to login to the website just fine.</p><p>It's only the game that aperently dosen't think my password or account name is valid.</p>

But usually for some reason when they patch, everything messes up, from missing characters in list, to being being downgraded to bronze from gold to login failures etc. I wouldnt worry too much just yet, patch is supposed to be done in 15. <img src="/eq2/images/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" /></p>

<p>same problem here, 2 accounts.  server status says 'low' instead of locked right now, and my login works fine on forums, it's not a 'login server not available' kinda thing I'd expect from locked.</p><p>edit: on two different computers too</p>

<p>Same problem.  Also the servers do not show as down or locked on the server list on the launcher, which they would normally do if the patch was still ongoing.  They all show as "Low" population.  Every previous patch day as soon as it switched from "Locked" to "Low" I'd be able to log in.  That and it would still go to character select and show the locked/server down status normally if it wasn't quite finished.</p><p>The frustrating thing now is having to log back in to the launcher every time the login fails cuz it shuts down as soon as it tries to load the character list.</p><p>/sigh</p>

<p>I have 4 accounts and 4 different systems. I can't log on 3 of the systems but, I can switch accounts on one of them just fine.</p><p>apart from hardware differences between the systems the only other major difference is the one system that's letting me get through is running windows vista the others are all win7. I don't know if that will help anyone here but, there you go.</p><p>I just realized my vista system is also using the streaming version of the client my win7s are all using the non-streaming.</p>

And looking into it means, they are tracing and trying to figure out what they did wrong, or what switch they didnt hit.</p>

<p>Login rejected on both my accounts and my hubby.  I use custom UI he does not.  I patch with the newest launcher then launch with the shortcut.  Neither is working.  </p>

<p>I am also getting hit with this error. Two of my accounts, the two silver ones, prompt me to change the password. My two gold accounts do not, they just fail.  The gold have the authenticator, the silver do not as they are mostly rp characters. I'm on XP pro. Hopefully that helps.</p>
