Red names /wave

I would be willing to bet that you could probably recruit 50 players that would happily do itemization for you for free and do it fair and correctly, without op'ing a class or breaking the game.

I have faith but i do know you guys are over worked. It's obvious. /shrug (theres no sense in going on here.)

Give us a shot. Make a contest or something.. Make them submit sample items that fit current tiers. Pick 5 winners. The winners get to work on the loot. They submit to you guys, you approve. If one quits open the contest again.

Heck you could even call it a web based intern program ( something for the old resume)

You get what you want (less griping -- happier customers), we get what we want.

my 2 cents.

Your suggestion has merit.

Unfortunately, Sony will NEVER do something like that.

It works great in other games, just look at how valve's doing it with TF2.

Good idea, even if it was only to fix the low (iow everything but 90) level stuff. Not likely to happen tho...

i dunno .. i still have hope.

Seriously, we could do this with dev blessing of course..... I personally would be flattered. Even if it was level 10 drops. Because i know i wouldn't find zerker/guardian only items with wisdom and + magic skills.

Instead of shaking my head, i could do something about it.

I realize i came off wrong like i "know" better then devs ( not my intent at all). But that's my opinion and i'm not going to "pretty" it up.

You don't understand the contempt sony has for its players. We're inferior and unable to 'grasp' the intricacies of their game.

This superiority complex with them is no different than a system admin and his users.

There is a reason they don't even want feedback from players until the design is locked and 99% complete.

I've only seen a couple of items so far from GU63, and what I've seen already says that SOE still hasn't learned. One of the first items you can get is a helmet that's better than the easy-mode DoV raid helmet, minus the red slot adorn, a lackluster focus, and a bit of physical mitigation. There are no red-slot adorns that can make up for the 39% haste and dps, and 19% spell weapon and dps that are on this overland-quest helmet. Not to mention increased stamina and wisdom. When is SOE going to stop making overland quest gear more powerful than raid gear? *sigh*

I just hope that they can at LEAST come up with a plan for the item progression. Something like this:

This is just something I threw together quick. Don't read too much into where I have things lined up since I only spent about 2 seconds throwing it together. This is just an example to show that there should be a PLAN on how the gear should line up in a progression.
