View Full Version : frame rate drops to zero when moving or changing direction in game

<p>Video snags horribly when attempting to walk or turn, it drops from the 40s to zero, basically it freezes momentarily. I have to take a step or two, then wait for the video to unfreeze. <p>Also, I have streaming on. I'll camp out normally but when I return to the game I find that the amount to be streamed is back up at 14gb.</p>

<p>Have you tried using the <a href="http://launch.soe.com/installer/EQ2_Full_setup.exe" target="_blank">full download version</a> of the client? I did have some issues when running the streaming client on my older machine with less ram/XP but those problems went away when I went to streaming. Something about parsing those giant assetcache files seemed to kill my machine.</p>
