Ornate mysterious crate?

<p>As I am playing (usually when killing stuff) I get a pop-up rewarding me with a ornate mysterious crate.  It usually contains a seemingly random item for my level.  Any idea why this is happening and what triggers this reward?</p>

<p><span style="font-size: medium; color: #00ccff;">There seems to be a bug that if you que for DF go into a dungeon, pop your merc..it will think your a group and reward you for running around with your merc alone.</span></p>
