Player paladins and mercs - why no Resolute Faith?

<p>This CA buff is unable to be put on mercs, yet you can put Amends on a merc.</p>

<p>If I had to guess, I would say it has something to do with the code they added years ago to prevent fighters from casting their avoidance lends on pets in order to get the self-buff benefits.</p>

I know they nerfed it for cosmetic squire usage but putting it on player pets shouldn't be a problem or groups with just summoner tank pets would rage.

<p>You also can't put Ancestral Sentry on a merc =( Kinda sucks, but not a huge deal.</p>
