<p>That is the message I keep getting after transferring two characters last night. How long must I wait before transferring two more characters. And, when did the two character limit go into effect? I don't see anything about in the sticky at the top of this forum.</p><p>Edit:</p><p><a href="http://soe-ing.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/19519/kw/character%20transfers" target="_blank">Here </a>is a knowledge base article that was updated yesterday and there is no mention of transfer limits.</p>

<p>Thanks for the link, but that is outdated information.</p><p>I have moved many more than eight characters in the last six months. It appears from my experience last night that you may move only two characters within an account within 24 hours.</p><p>Since the Alaplaya-SOE  FAQ announcement I have been moving my level 90 characters that were transferred to Splitpaw from Freeport in early January back to Freeport as well as moving some of my level 90 characters that grew up on Runnyeye/Splitpaw  to Freeport. I believe my total moves were 11 to Splitpaw and 14 back to Freeport. All of these moves were quite costly and I am really unhappy about that.</p><p>Now if I could just move my guild from Splitpaw to Freeport, along with my remaining characters (for free) I would be much happier.</p>

In December 2010 I bought transfer tokens intending to move my 9 (or so) characters off Butcherblock and on to Crushbone the day before the free transfer event. Was only allowed to move two of them, and then the next day when the free transfer event occurred, I was only able to move 5 more (I think it was?) characters onto CB because the two paid for transfers counted towards my free limit. On that day only did they allow the transfer of more than two characters. Not sure if there is still a limit on transfers in a certain period.</p>

<p>Another thing that could be throwing your 8 count off, would be manual transfers. If you're doing account to account, and we're executing the transfer manually for you, that likely wouldn't count towards your 8 transfer token moves, so if you've used 8 tokens directly then you may have hit your 180 day limit.</p>

Several of my characters were manually transferred to Splitpaw, but all came back via tokens.</p></blockquote><p>In any case if you're unable to use the token contact customer service and we should be able to execute a manual move for you assuming your account meets all the eligibility requirements for manual transfer.</p>
