I haven't been able to log in all day. Before this morning, it was fine though sometimes when I camped between toons, the game would crash but then I could run it again and no problem.

All day, a variety of errors. I usually can load launchpad and it will give me the green Play, but when I hit it, it turns to Playing and then... a long wait. Sometimes launchpad disappears, sometimes it stays. Only once, it did show the game box and slowly (like 15 minutes) later I got a character select screen - but nothing clickable and it all went Not Responding.

I've uninstalled twice and re-installed. I do still get launchpad, but when I click play, after 2 minutes or so I get:

EverQuest II has detected an unrecoverable error and must shutdown.<verify> G:liveeq2frameworkrenderVeShader.cpp (983:m_shaderParams.m_pPixelShader00a1ce0e 00a27253

Any thoughts? I have not changed ANY hardware and would really like to enjoy a double-xp weekend

Still having the same issue - getting the same error message about VeShader.cpp

Tried some of the other suggestions about bypassing launchpad but everquest2.exe does the same thing - my problem isn't a launchpad issue, it's the game itself. I put in a support ticket but other than acknowledgement of receipt, I've heard nothing

If you haven't already done so, please attach your dxdiag/msinfo files to your ticket - that was we can get a better idea what the problem might be with your client. Other than that, we'll ge back to you ASAP!
