started downloading a fresh installation of everquest 2 yesterday. its closing in on 24 hours and im at just over 53% done.iv repeatedly tested my download speed and its up close to 1mbps. nothing else i download takes this long.just renewed my subscription for 30 days and i cannot play for the first 2 or 3 days?really?

It's definitely a bit odd that your pathping stops at the first hop, but not necessarily indicative of a problem.Are you using a wired or wireless connection? Do you notice any faster download speed on wired opposed to wireless? You may also want to try bypassing your router as well, and connecting straight to the modem (just for the download).Also - if you have any antivirus running, be sure to add an exception for launchpad.exe - don't disable the software itself, as sometimes those programs ignore being disabled, but the exception should prevent real-time scanning from slowing down your download.Past that, you may wish to <a href="https://help.station.sony.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/27234" target="_blank">open a support ticket</a> so we can gather further information from you.
