Why can't I buy a subscription with SC at character select?

<p>Why can't I buy a subscription with SC at character select?</p><p>I have more than enough SC for the sub. But when you are on free, the character select market only has a few useless items in it.</p><p>I don't want to log in and have all my gear pop off and make a mess so that I can then buy a subscription with SC.</p><p>I think I asked this a long time ago, when F2P started, but it has just come up for me again, my question was never adressed obviously. I'm not even sure the real correct place to ask it. Maybe this belongs in the SC section, I don't know.</p><p>I don't understand why everything is not in the shop at character select, what's the point of having it there at all with nothing but race/class packs, character slot, and expansion?</p>

<p>The main point is for character slots and race/class packs - as this way you dont have to create a brand new character just to get in game and unlock an already existing one. I'll pass along your feedback about memberships though!</p>
