Just make a threadbare shawl. Everyone who crafts can make 'em .. I think they're level 5 artisan. They have no appearance.

Look for the "tranquil threadbare shawl", either on the broker or the level 4 handcrafted recipe. It should give you the look you want.

And the ugly a** seams across the legs of the female gear. No idea if it's there for male, but all my toons have seams every so often from knee to hip. Really, really ugly.

Remember hearing some complaining(loud at that) that one of the low level items that had no shoulder appearance were "fixed".

I'll have to take a look at that :3 Thanks!!

Normal threadbare works well for shoulders and forearms (because any bracers show through the gloves).

darwich wrote:

or you can buy some of the appearence shoulder slots from SC... there are the bracers or some such.. they make the shoulders go poof..

Yeah, did that with a couple of mine just cuz I wanted a different look. A couple of the armbands look really nice.

Debbani@Unrest_old wrote:

And the ugly a** seams across the legs of the female gear. No idea if it's there for male, but all my toons have seams every so often from knee to hip. Really, really ugly.

It's a fabric, fabric has seams? Honestly, they really should have used a different tone instead of the flesh tone they did use. I know they were trying to stay true to the LoN art but it didn't transfer over to 3d scale at all. >.<

The person who designed those leggings was trying to copy a LoN loot card painting. Thing is, the character in the painting has bare skin in that area. But it was not textured well in the final leggings we got, resulting in the bad look around that area. There was quite a bit of feedback on those leggings and how ugly they looked around the knees. Also suggestions that they simply darken that area to match the rest of the leggings more. I guess the designer did not like anyone criticizing his/her work, thus the pants remain unchanged.

I intensily hate the way they look, so will not barter for them. Hopefully there are some that do like them.

I don't need my legs looking like they went through surgery on my lighter-skinned chars or like they were grafted on for my darker-skinned chars.

I'm sure someone out there loves them though. I'm definitely not one of those people, and am deeply disappointed because that outfit had a lot of potential.

Back on the original topic.. I had no idea the threadbare shoulder item had no appearance, thanks all for that tip.

We all had a good laugh at the pants the other night before raid time. Everyone that tried them on had "butt crack"!! There was a strip of skin showing down the whole length of the back seam of the pants.

And the skin showing matched the skin of the player char.. soooooo.............. ewwwww

My two wearing it are a really dark skinned Barbarian female and a dark elf female so it doesn't look like flesh.

The only "seam" I found in the pink part of the legs though aren't like vertical creases, but look like they were folded up and ironed that way(horizontal creases almost).

I had some of the invisible bracers, and still have some boots, but I don't have any more gloves or shoulders... and the last event that gave them(hallows end or whatever) it was random when you got them in chests.

I really need to get a full set for each of my alts and then a couple spares ><

You should see those pants on a halfling female.... not pretty. I look like a Jerry Springer reject in my tube top and spandex pants.... I swear her thighs look like over-stuffed sausages.
