I have been playing a beastlord, leveling slowly really trying to figure them out. I have noticed that one of my warders level 30 Primal Ability's has shown up in my spell book. This being the Canine family class. This can replace a true AOE with a single target spell. Anyway, that is not really my question, my question is Since I have the Canine Grandmastered, I thought why not Grandmaster a few more pets and get the level 30 Primal Ability for them as well. However none of my other pets i have grandmasstered have given me a level 30 Primal Ability in my spell book.

So I talked to a few guild memebers about it. Some of them found 1 spell, however they were not from the original Grandmaster pet the obtained. As I was thinking maybe it was only the first Grandmaster pet you leveled. So why is it that some pets give you a spell, some do not. I have cast pets out of a specific stance, also in a specific stance.. changed appearances ect. But no new spells. According to one write up you are to recieve the new spell once you have reached Grandmaster on any pet belonging to a specific family class.

When your pet reaches grandmaster level, you'll gain a new level 30 Primal Ability. Those abilities are not using the same primal slot. Here is the list:

You can use the primal with any warder active, not specifically the one who gave it to you.

Noxious Grasp

AMPHIBIAN - Feral Primal : uses 50 savagery, direct poison damage, teleport target to you. I am confused anyway. Thanks in advance.

Have you leveled any of those Warders to 100% yet?As you use a Warder, you will get messages that your Affinity has increased with that pet. You'll slowly level it up from Apprentice to Journeyman, Adept, Expert, Master, Grandmaster, and then another 20-25% or so and you are awarded a Primal ability which you can use on ALL your Warders. You get most of you Advantages by leveling, some by how you spend AAs/Warder Points. But most of your Primals are earned by skilling up your Warders.

By the way, you can see the progress of all 17 of your Beastlord Warders at http://U.EQ2Wire.com/ .

thank you for your reply, I checked the link you provided and it states that I have 3 at 100%. Aquatic, Avian and Canine. However in my Spells I only have the Avian Spell. Should I go even further past the 100% mark maybe ? The spell i have in my spell book is called Silent Talon for the Avian. The ones I am missing would be Savage Ravaging for the Canine and Courageous Scarring for the Aquatic.

100% should be enough. You should have received those Primals. Hmm. Instead of your Knowledge book, try right-clicking on your 1, 2, 3, and 4 Primal slots and see if those spells appear as something you can swap in. Also note that some Primals are Offensive (Feral) and some are Defensive (Spiritual).

I thought as much, I have tried multiple different things to try to get the spells to work, Avian is a slot 3 primal, and the Canine is supposidly a slot 4 primal. So they should not conflict. however I cannot seem to get the Canine spell. I have been continuously playing my canine over the last 24 hours at level 6 100% and nothing has shown up. I think I may just have to pettition this one to see what happened. Do you think it may be because its the pet I used my potion on to make it GrandMaster ? Maybe some glitch between actually leveling a warder to level 6 and using that potion. You would think that when you use the potion, your warder should just get that spell at the same time.

If you used the potion, you should have immediately gotten your Primal. I know I did. If you didn't, then I would /petition.
