Help, I want to play again, but account wont work.

<p>Hello, I have not played the game for years now, I want to come back as its free to play, and see if I would get gold membership. However when I try to login to the game client, it says my account is inactive, so I click to activate it, but then it says page could not be displayed...I cannot find anywhere where I can make it so my account works as free account. I played this game for 4 years from release, and would love to come back and see how it is!</p><p>Thanks,</p><p>Covernant1</p>

<p>I had a somewhat of a same problem.</p><p>The only way I could resolve it was to actually go to my account page threw EQ2 website and check my game info.</p><p>Seams I had to enable it from there instead of the launcher.</p><p>Hope that helps a little</p>

<p>Also it says input any code you have, I put the one I have on back of my game manual and that says its either used or out of date! Of course its used, its mine!</p><p>I have sent a ticket to support on forums but they have yet to get back to me since i sent it 8 hours ago...</p>

You shouldn't have to activate a free account. You probably were having a website issue so maybe by now it has been fixed? You can always go to your account details and see what tier you have.
