Per Smokejumper's post:

http://forums.station.sony.com/eq2/...topic_id=514354Good news overall. However, since our crit mit buff will (maybe) be taken away and we already are weak buffers what will we get in return? Instinct Groupwide..maybe?

What are your thoughts?

Edit: Correct link for SJ's discussion

Was discussing this with a friend earlier based on the changes to war runes they think it will go to a health buff personally I really hope they come here and read all those posts asking for a small groupwide offensive buff, groupwide instinct would be totally awesome of course but I would be happy with a small cb or pot buff tbh

Seeing that this CM change is such a drastic change for the entire game, I doubt they are going to put much effort into our current critical mitigation buff besides turning it into an HP modifier (as they said they would do for CM adorns). The changes and fixes they have to do already to implement this update is intimidating. Anyways, the buff is a defensive one - if they do a complete turnaround and put thought into it to convert it into something offensively useful I'll be shocked. That's if they even remember that wardens have a critical mitigation buff in the first place. 15% critical mitigation was a very unique buff the warden class had -- I do hope they turn it into something distinctive.

I hope they keep the critical mitigation portion of it in PvP, as CM will still work and will still be extremely invaluable in that situation.

If a mod happens to read this post, please fix Shatter Infections, as it's been broken for about a year now. http://forums.station.sony.com/eq2/...topic_id=509762

Well, considering at the very top, of the raiding scene, of which you should be pretty familiar with Ayaka, considering your in Oda Clan, the warden CM buff was basically completely worthless in current raid content at the top. Now you being on Nagafen, I can understand the desire for it to stay the same on pvp, as that could make a big difference there. I think that changing this buff to anything else will be an effective buff to the warden class, for the top end. Things that would be more in line with what it should be are: a percent based all mitigation buff, a percent or direct HP buff, or my personal favorite, a static percent based damage reduction buff. I am curious what other people think would be worthwhile change to the current buff.

But I think you are right. I think they are going to take the Low Road and just make it a straight HP buff. Maybe add a bit of damage mitigation, but it won't be significant, and I don't think it will change anything unless they put a little bit of thought into it.

..or alternately, if they don't want to think, they can read our posts lol.

Thanks Chrissy..

It's okay, I guess. Pretty much we all now have to have enough health to survive the potency of the mob. Could add a decent ~2kHP to a tank.

Sad it got removed from PvP though, lol..

More health buffs will help somewhat since druids health buffs are ok but not great but I think the one thing this shows is that the devs really don't care about wardens. Critical Debilitation was added to game as a unique class defining ability for wardens to change something like that into a HP modifier just really makes me sad and shows that the devs have just gone right we'll swap the crit mit runes into health runes so we'll do the same with the warden crit mit buff instead of trying to think a good replacement.

A small groupwide offensive buff would have obviously been the ideal salution imho since wardens have been asking for one for years and still haven't had a reply as to why we are the only healer without one, but critical dehabilitation was obviously a defensive buff so whats wrong with soe making a new small defensive buff, yeh ok wardens have a good range of defensive abilities but as people have already suggested some kind of damage mitigation buff could have been added or something along those lines.

this change is pretty weak

please give it some actual thought!

Eh, every class that had a buff/debuff somewhat like this got the exact same change (max health/potency debuff). It would have been strange for them to turn a defensive buff into an offensive one, anyways.
