Fury spell haste and improved nukes ...

<p>I just found out that whatever be my casting speed (i can make it vary from 0% to around 60% swapping gear) my thunderbolt remains at 1sec casting time.</p><p>It may be due to the fact that she has the AAs that decrease casting time by already half. So it seems that AAs do not stack with spell haste.</p><p>So my conclusion is that fury spell haste only matter for heals since the most important nukes have already a casting time decreased by half with AAs.</p><p>Is that correct ?</p><p>Note that i will keep the AA reduction since they add crit bonus and lower reuse.</p>

<p>ANY spell can only be cut in half for cast time (with 100% cast speed a 3 sec cast time goes down to 1.5). furies just happen to have aa's to cut our nukes & a few to cut specific heals (back into the fray in the sf area of the fury tree, group regen in shadows). cast time is gonna effect any spell that's not already capped by aa's. i believe inq's have aa's that boost cast time even more so they dont need much cast speed mods, but i could be wrong. it's been this way since the spell haste mechanic was introduced. so yes, it's going to mainly affect a fury's heals, rather than their nukes (the same with reuse since those r capped with the same aa's).</p>

<p>The reason many AA's now add crit bonus to specific spells is because SOE already acknowledged the fact that cast haste was so widespread that the AA's basically didn't "do" anything at end game with only cast speed enhancements.  They added those crit bonus enhancements to make the AA's worth taking.</p><p>It makes those AA's valuable at all levels.  So, when you are leveling up, and you have little cast haste, the cast haste portion of the AA is valuable.  When you get to end game, and you have a lot of cast haste, the crit bonus is helpful.</p>
