Avazeks?

<p>I ran Strategist's Stronghold in Drunder last night and came across a quest to kill Avazeks.</p><p>I've been seeing aviaks in the Kael instances and in the x4 raids, and now I wonder if these are also Avazeks.</p><p>The bit of lore that I read in the quest was the Avazeks betrayed Xegony during the Rallosian War, turning to Rallos Zek for promises of wealth and power.  The quest was to bring back the head of a named Avazek to the NPC.  The quest was shared to me so I didn't get to see the dialog when you first get the quest.  </p><p>If anyone has any other info in these birds, I'd appreciate it.</p><p>Thanks in advance!</p>

<p>Avazeks, IIRC, were creations of Xegony. Then they did something that Xegony didn't like, and exiled them, and Rallos Zek took them in and made them stronger or something like that.</p><p>Also, Avazek illusions. <3</p>

Then they did something that Xegony didn't like, and exiled them, and Rallos Zek took them in and made them stronger or something like that.</p><p>Also, Avazek illusions. <3</p></blockquote><p>In the quest dialog, it was stated that they forsaked Xegony when Rallos Zek offered them wealth and power during the Rallosian War.  That's what has her so angry to want their heads for the betrayal.</p><p>I can't find any other info on them.  But it's interesting to see that the Kromzek names in instances and raid zones will summon these birds as adds. </p>

<p>Just a small question. Has anyone seen any Daiku in Drunder? You know, Rallos Zek's own personal shock troops?</p><p>In EQ1 you fought these things constantly in Drunder. They look a bit like Drolvarg except bigger, meaner and more bristly if memory serves me correctly. Somehow...I don't think there are any Daiku in EQ2?</p>

<p>actually in EQ he Diaku were giant Ogres. they wore black armor and usually wielded an axe. in EQ2 I beleive there are some...the final boss in Sullon's Spire is supposedly a Daiku..and uses the Soga Ogre model.</p>

<p>Well they only appeared as giant Ogres, but it was still implied that the Diaku were a completely seperate race who just happened to share general similarities with ogres.</p><p>It's like how Giants still generally look like humans despite the two being completely different races.</p>

In Tallon's Stronghold they're all over the place. Cusa is right, they take the form of giant ogres in different styles of armor via the SOGA models (doesn't matter if you have these models checked or not, they're only SOGA).</p>
